This is definately a "new look" Germany. Not able to watch the game but the 1-0 Germans of WCs past is gone. I can't wait for Germany06!
Have the Mexicans been provoking the Germans or is it pretty equal? They are good at drawing the response to "cheap" shots and getting the opponent carded for retaliating. Notice lots of cards though.
Of course it's not but being able to score more than one goal per game is quite nice and we still need to get used to it!
i swear, the way germanys midfield and offense has been playing, if klinsmann can sharpen the defense over the next year, they will really be strong!!! 14 goals in 5 matches - 2 vs brazil/argentina, 3 with 10 men vs the best defense in teh tournament - mexico!!! pretty impressive!!!
