The winner will probably get outplayed by the Argies in the 1/4 finals. But hey, this 1/8 final duel seems to get pretty interesting...

I don't think we should get far ahead ourselves and concentrate on the match in hand. Based on the last match performance by both teams I am not too optimistic for Germany, it is a good thing however that England has not been exactly convincing as of yet. We shall see...

I would have preffered a England high on confidence and probably overconfident, The English media talking trash as usual while Germany tonks their ass

We're bored of playing you guys..

Germany has the advantage I feel.. they know that a draw will be enough for them, because there's no chance in hell that we win a penalty shoot out against you.

England have started slowly, but today showed that we might be starting to peek at the right time.. we have been very wasteful in front of goal, but Rooney is finding form. I think Germany will definately score, so we're gonna have to take most of our chances. Germany didn't look great today, but I feel they have a slight advantage going into this.

Good luck, let's hope that this time we don't need a penalty shoot out..

True, but over many years of having to play you, I've realised to never under estimate you guys.. the history involved in this game will probably get your guys pumped up, has there ever been a poor match between us?

We have been very nervous so far apart from against Slovenia. If we play like today then I would be confident, but I don't know whether to expect a great performance or a poor one at the moment.

According to Spox, Schweini is 50-50 to play on Sunday, and that's the most optimistic prediction.

If that's true, we are truly ********ed. I would have no problem with Kroos replacing Khedira (the biggest disappointment of the tournament for me has been his play, someone tell him he's a CM and not a second striker ffs), but we can't replace the Pig.

haha, don't worry... i was looking for a response, it may seem like a rhetorical question but it wasn't. i was at my accounting job all day, watching the matches on my cell phone (FloTv) with my headphones in while being 50% productive so i was sort of just wanting to get an overall sense of how the german boards feel after this match since i haven't been around most of the day. and well, looking at the last few pages, the reviews seem to be all over the place
