I'd like to see a balanced side. Havertz and Kruggers have worked well together. Please give them a run of games! Musiala has the body of work - he is the Ozil of this generation. He should play in his best position. To me Wirtz should be included in the group but I am not convinced he should start out of position. I'd prefer to see a genuine winger.

because having world class CBs is essential for the way Hansi Flick wants to play, and a lot of his core is made up of Bayern players, meaning the midfield duo of Kimmich and Goretzka depend on having CBs behind them who know how to mark and defend properly. It’s pretty crucial that the NT can do this if it hopes for success on home soil come the next year…
I get that but its still doesn't change the pool of players. and none of Sule, Rudiger, Schlotterbeck even played the Belgium game anyways. So we didn't even play our best CBs. Even Thiaw+Bella-Kotchap are better than Kehrer+Ginter. I mean people used to say that Germany needs a Lewa to succeed.....no we don't as we've seen with Fullkrug. even a Moting (poached by Cameroon) is fitting well at Bayern too. neither Bayern nor Germany need a world class CF just one that fits system.
Watching Wolf today, really highlights how converted RB’s are never the answer when it comes to big games. You need that defensive nous/positioning. Until we can find a reliable RB for the NT and not use a converted CB, CM or W It will always cause problems.
yup because at end of day fullback is 1-a Defensive position 1st 2-its a speciality like GK, CB and CF. we have to hope that Vagnoman and Fischer continue to dev, maybe Asta/Ludewig too as he might end up higher in Summer. Fischer continues to have fitness issues but he actually benched Baku which isn't great news for us. converted RB can also be seen in how Mehmet Aydin (poached by Turkey) looks so much better at M/W than at RB....because he's NOT an RB. then in bad news, 02-03 have potential RB wise but covid killing U19+RL for a whole season delayed everyone by a year. So as of now we got nothing above 3rd Liga. 04 have RBs but for random reason dfb constantly ignores them all for false RBs. 05 have a small RB pool but already like half of them have signed pro contracts already.
I wouldn't mind Flick trying what Tuchel did with Kimmich and Goretzka. Both were played as 6s who covered for the defense and completely shut BVB out of the game. They barely had a shot on a target after the first 10 mins. Also was great to see Sané playing well. Some forget how good he can be when in form.
Kehrer was incredibly poor in west hams 5-1 defeat at the hands of Newcastle. Surely Hansi needs to stop picking players who are not performing for their respective clubs!
