so many German youth want this to be 1st tourney they play at. Can see lure this being home tourney. Paul Wanner is latest youth hoping to make 2024 Euro. 20 years ago, 2004 Euro had, 1st tourney of Lahm, Basti, Podolski......who all won 2014 WC. will be curious to see how many make it.

I think finals should be held in capital of a country, tbh, its more fitting. from 1985-onwards DFB Cup final always in Berlin too. Since renovations in 2004, the Olympiastadion has a permanent capacity of 74,475 seats and is the largest stadium in Germany for international football matches. The Olympiastadion is a UEFA category four stadium and one of the world's most prestigious venues for sporting and entertainment events.
No Neuer? What is this? Totally unrealistic. Seriously though I expect players like Neuer and Muller to stick around for this home tournament. But otherwise the squad looks pretty good, maybe an 05 might explode before then or someone like Dorsch, Stiller, Dardai, Lemperle, Samardzic etc might continue their upward trajectories. There are a ton of variables.
Gundo and Reus might also get that Final Tourney=in Germany temptation. 2024 is only 2 years away not 4-6 years. but in general, these lists=pointless, you can't predict things with 2 seasons to go. And U21 Euro is inbetween too. Squad lists should only be for 2022 WC. for me simple no Mustafildini and Draxldinho.

Germany will 100% play friendlies with Brazil and Argentina. The strongest African and Asian countries IMO are Senegal, Japan and South Korea. It wouldn't surprise me to see friendlies with USA, Mexico and Canada as a way to promote the 2026 World Cup.
At least it’s a shorter gap then usual between tournaments, basically 18 months so not quite so long without competitive matches.
dont think Flick should coach this tourney. but given his 2024 contract and lack of options, think we are stuck with him.
Who are the realistic options? Di Salvo? Tuchel? Maybe Christian Streich (wouldn’t want to wreck Freiburg though).
I think Di Salvo likely to get the shaft same way Kuntz did. Tuchel is free and would offer something different than Low-Flick. Going after him ASAP or risk losing him to someone else. Not saying should go for him but that window won't always be open. but yeah lack of options is what makes me think we are stuck with Flick unless he decides to resign. Curious if he'll do it or try to redeem himself.
