    3-4-3
    Also an option.

Yes some of your points are correct, the attack was a problem, no movement at all, most of the time Germany caught in possession was because of the lack of movement from muller draxler werner they basically offered nothing, hence our midfield was jumped on because of either sideways passing or delayed passing because of the lack of movement, how many clear cut chances did the create? A big 0, for me the attack is a concern

I like the idea with 3 midfields (Rudy, Kroos and Gundo), but whom you will drop to give one space for Gundo? I don't think we should drop Ozil, he is the one can string the attack together, he didn't play as bad as some people say

totally agree with you, the attack is the biggest concern, physically they don't look great, no movement at all, because no movement, the passings are very predictable and easy to intercept, that is why they lose the ball easily and get caught up in counter attack

Yes exactly, I can see werner being made a scapegoat goat and muller moving upfront and possibly brand or rues coming in, and if muller doesn't still perform then he needs to be axed

    As said........................
    We could try this.....4-3-3
    Kimmich---Boa--Hummels----Hector
    ------------------Rudy-------------------
    --------Kroos------------Gundo----------
    Muller----------------------------------Reus
    -------------------Werner------------------

    or 3-4-3
    ----------Boa-----Sule-----Hummels-------
    Kimmich-----Kroos-Gundo------hector
    Muller----------------------------------Reus
    -------------------Werner------------------

No way Loew makes a lot of changes. 1 or 2 max. Now that our backs are against the wall, Loew will rely on his veterans even more. He is going to stick with his battle-tested crew the upcoming knock out games. He will not change his core now, it is too late and he is not that brave. One of the changes will be Reus starting. I am a big fan of Mueller but playing him on the wing means Germany is playing 10 against 11. If he can't be behind Werner/Gomez, Mueller should not play. Brandt also showed he can be a difference maker.

I don't agree that you exclude Ozil out, Ozil was no where the worst player on that match, I think the biggest concern is the whole team's attitude, they can not underestimate the opponent again! I particularly don't like Kroos's attitude, he has become so arrogant and corky, he pass the ball too casually, do not track back, argued with referee, took the corner casually without too much thought, tried to take the whole thing on his own by shooting from very far distance...I could not understand why so many people here were so optimistic about beating Mexico how many goals, can not understand why still have so many people think beating Sweden is a easy job, there is no easy job in the world cup! every match is like a war between two nations...so player like Kroos need to give 110%, instead of care about his coolness and cool hairstyles, Ozil on the other end has taken too many sticks by people here and become a scapegoat possibly because he is not native German or his body language is not positive!

After 2-0 lead changes, Gundogan for Muller and Gomez for Werner to bring it up for 3-0

The formation that brings Muller Central into the box and not on the wing to swing those hopeless crosses into the first line of defence

    ---Kimmich--Boa---Hummels--Hector
    --------------------Rudy
    --------Kroos--------Gundog
    ------------Muller---Reus
    ------------------Werner

We need Reus and Muler a little central so that when Werner drifts wide, either of the 2 can move into central positions. Their goal scoring instinct is needed

Kroos and Gundog need to alternate on who goes forward and who screens also they need to work hard cover our FB when they overlap

Rudy must never cross our Half way line or max the center circle to the opponent half to smartly break up play

IIRC, He’s like 3d generation german.

He really undermined much more than just the perception of him on the team. He hurt the image of ethnic Turks in Germany. The right has certainly seized the “integration narrative” on this.

    Is keeping possession that important?

Yeah we want to win games and dominate. But doesnt mean we need to panic and become a mess.

we wanna play possession but do we have the compatitiveness, mobility and pressing to get the ball back when we lost it?

we need to play good defence, quick counters (Werner, Reus can be useful) and be patient.

This wait is killing me. Rather large gap between the first two match days.
    It is generally 4 days.

Has Kicker stopped doing the player ratings they did back in the day? Would have been nice to see the sport journalists rate the players on the Mexico game.

In your above line I would not use Khedira... Would rather field Gundo who has better passing skills and also can get involved in up front , or move Goertzka next to Kroos and rather play Muller on the wing.

    -----------------------NEuer
    -------------Boateng---Hummels-
    --Kimmich-----------Sule------------------------Hector
    -----Goertzka/Gundo---Kroos
    -------Muller------Werner-------Reus

But will Low make 4 changes for this game.... If I was him yes I would.....
FunnY havennt heard any comments from low yet after the lost game.

Khedira should not play another minute at this WC unless we are in an injury or suspension crisis.

Reus and Goretzka need to start from here on out. Time to stop trying to force Khedira to play above his skill level.

    Kimmich Hummels Boateng Hector

    Goreztka Kroos

    Muller Reus
    Werner

When I look at the starting eleven against Mexico, it strikes me that literally everyone except Boa and Hummels are better going forward than doing defensive work
Germany needs someone like Martinez for Bayern, covering the spaces Kroos's leaving behind

that's what I like about him, a very humble person and player
I'd be shocked if he doesn't start

But I'd start Werner on the bench maybe and put him on later if Sweden doesn't park the bus

So the Bayern bloc -except Jerome Boateng- is angry at Özil for not making a clear statement about Gündogate. But hey, this isnt politics and absolutely has no influence on the sports, right?
