According to FIFA at: http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/en/06/loc/t/p.html A preliminary fixture schedule will be drafted in May 2004, even though the names of the qualified teams will of course not be known at this time, as the tournament itself is pencilled in for 9 June to 9 July 2006. Twelve host cities have been selected to host matches: Berlin, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Hannover, Kaiserslautern, Köln, Leipzig, München, Nürnberg and Stuttgart.
They should put Germany in a group and fixture list just to be funny. Wait, I forgot, it's the Germans we're talking about! (j/k no offense to the Germans!) BTW, while the new stadiums don't appear to be exotic as the K/J 2002 ones, the venues look great. I'm really excited about the Allianz Arena in Munchen. It looks so futurisitc: http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/en/06/loc/v/index.html
