I wouldn't really say Gotze and Schurrle failed. More precise, short live success. They combined to score the WC winning goal. Amongst all those mentioned, I think Gotze and Schurrle at least leave a good memory.
would add Meyer was an inefficient attacker which made him useless so they tried and failed to make him into DM, lol. Stark is also always injured too just like Kempf. Both promising but harder to make progress. This season Kempf has been good for Stuttgart. Tah was overrated just a physical cb and not much else. Sinan Kurt was likely overrated. I don't buy that moving to Bayern ruined him, lol. Just struggled in adult footy.
Agree 100%. It's ridiculous how many seen to be constantly missing games and affecting their development. Even young Germans not coming through the German system seem to get injured a lot. Plus in the recent past even the WC winning players like Hummels, Boateng, Khedira, Kramer, Gotze, Schurrle and Reus all had a ton of injuries, and then you see other potential NT regulars like the Benders and especially Badstuber who missed a huge amount of games. Further back you look at people like Metzelder and Deisler who could have had incredible careers were badly affected by constant injuries.

this was pre-Hoff game, Kempf has started all seven of Stuttgart’s Bundesliga games so far this season and, as the team’s defensive rock, and has played his part in VfB conceding just nine times – fewer even than the likes of Bayern and Borussia Mönchengladbach. “He’s shown how important he is for us with his speed, his physicality and also in his build-up play,” said head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo.

Gosens' dreams remains to play in the Buli someday in his career, although is uncertain of when that will be. He considers himself to be Schalke supporter but rules out joining them at a time like this considering the situation at the club, which would he a step downgrade on his career. https://www.fussballtransfers.com/a849541186454152711-gosens-mein-grosser-traum-ist-die-bundesliga

Commentary on Robin Koch after Leeds' clean sheet win vs Everton yesterday https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co...-response-leeds-united-talking-points-3051469 Robin Koch's perfect response Whilst for the second game in a row the focus fell on United’s attacking prowess, it is worth highlighting another Whites clean sheet - the accumulation of which will be equally vital to just where Leeds finish. There were a few dicey moments and Everton themselves created 15 attempts at goal and United have a lot to thank Illan Meslier for with the Frenchman producing some excellent saves. But the centre back axis of Liam Cooper and Robin Koch seems to be gradually improving and Koch deserves huge credit for his part in consecutive clean sheets on the back of playing 90 minutes in a 6-0 thumping for Germany against Spain. The German has produced the perfect reaction since.
