Jonas Hofmann will be out for at least the remainder of the calendar year, and will miss Gladbach's 3 remaining critical CL group stage matches https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/fu...-faellt-8-wochen-aus-73910224.bildMobile.html
They have an English coach. Says enough. And unlike most clubs on the continent a tv money injection higher than the budget of many top clubs. It shows you can have money to spend, but it doesnot make you play better.
Although EPL clubs can be convoluted, Max Meyer's irrelevance at Crystal Palace is his own fault. He's just a washed up player at this point.
Julian Weigl who has been disappointing at Benfica could be on his way out in the winter https://www.fussballtransfers.com/a...bei-benfica-weigl-schon-wieder-auf-dem-sprung
The guy just got crippled by his ankle fracture. I had a several injury and can't jog anymore. No wonder Julian can't play professional football even in the Portuguese league. He probably has to use painkiller for every training/game. It's a shame but I don't think there is a way out of this misery. He should accept it and retire from football.
Weigl, Selke and Meyer are the three biggest tragedies of the 95 age group. For various reasons, they ended up having disappointing career paths.
Klostermann will begin integrating back into team training again in December but a realistic return likely won't be until January 2021: https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/l...rmann-dauert-es-noch-bis-zum-comeback-296070/

First assist of the season for Brandt to give Dortmund the 2-1 lead vs Hertha, though credit Haaland on the run into position and finish https://streamye.com/vkpxv
That goal is not easy as it looks. Eggestein shot with inside of his left boot without controlling it first toward far edge of the goal.
Seems Süle got fat lol. Niklas Süle was not in the squad against Bremen yesterday as Hansi Flick was unhappy with the player's fitness levels & more precisely with his weight. Officially, the reason behind Süle's absence was a 'training deficit'. Flick asked Süle today for a one on one discussion [Bild] pic.twitter.com/2tBASixiR7— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 22, 2020
Erik Durm and Mitch Weiser, a couple faded RBs earning praise after they played their first match of the season for their respective clubs https://www.ligainsider.de/erik-dur...-spielt-sich-wieder-in-die-mannschaft-296242/ https://www.ligainsider.de/mitchell...und-dragovic-ndash-auf-einmal-wichtig-296215/
It's amazing how many young German players with lots of promise have failed over the past 5 or 6 years. Something's up with that.
When I say failed, I mean fall very short of their supposed potential, or plummeted from reasonable heights when they should have been progressing. Erik Durm Mitchell Weiser Max Meyer Mario Gotze Andre Shurrle Julian Weigl Johannes Geis Julian Draxler Marc Stendera Niklas Stark Jonathon Tah Sinan Kurt Yannick Gerhardt etc., etc., etc.
Durm and Stendera were destroyed by persistent injuries. Götze was injuries plus that physical condition he has. Schürrle: injuries and mental health which went downward after winning the WC Draxler got injured too much as a youngster and just became a limited player that peaked early Meyer peaked and became a twat with attitude issues as he left Schalke. His limited play got more exposed as he went to Crystal Palace Weigl got injured and stagnated Geis went downhill after going to Schalke Stark peaked and is just an average maybe above average player Tah and Gerhardt peaked and didn't take their game to a higher level Sinan Kurt was never relevant after the youth leagues
