The way Gotze is improving this season, if he helps Dortmund win the league, I see a potential comeback

speaking of fullbacks, Gosens scores his 3rd of the season and winner in a 2-1 win for Atalanta.

Volland scores his 10th of the season to make it 1-0.

Volland scores his 11th of the season to make it 2-0.Assist by Brandt.

Weydandt causes a Weiser OG to make it 2-2.
    https://streamja.com/aJEq

Brandt assisted Havertz for the winning goal to make it 3-2.
    https://streamja.com/2Z2r

Bellarabi made his comeback today from injury as a sub who came on the 66th min, scored a goal ruled out too. And Volland shows more and more than he needs a Germany NT recall.

Amin Younes played his 2nd Serie A game today playing 24 min, had some involvement in the build up to the tying Napoli goal. Spend almost entire season injured too. I don't expect him to stay at Napoli in Summer.

Robin Gosens speaking about potentially playing internationally in the future and is open for both Germany and Holland

    https://www.tubantia.nl/heracles/ou...noemd-bij-oranje-maar-is-toch-duits~a84cee02/

You have also played at Vitesse and Heracles and speak Dutch fluently. You are often mistaken for a Dutchman. But what about: what do you feel?

"Not only German, but half and half. I have two nationalities and that is how it feels. I grew up 500 meters from the border in Emmerich. At home we spoke German, so I only learned Dutch when I started playing football here. I know the culture, I speak the language and I have a very strong relationship with the Netherlands. If I were asked for the Orange and it becomes reality, then of course I will think about it. I think that if one of the two national coaches calls, I would drop the phone from my hands."

Are you in the picture with the German national team?

"I'm not sure, but my statistics as a left-backer are very good, although I think that's a little weird to say about myself. Let me put it this way: I can imagine that they are following me. ''

Do you think it is time for a call from one of the two countries?

"Why not? I have made great strides in the last two years. I play basically every week in the Serie A, one of the biggest competitions and in a team that is doing well. Italians are more emotional than we are and start regularly. They think that I deserve it for a country on the basis of my game. Which country does not matter. "

This season I would consider the ranking of LB form as:

    1) Schulz 2) Halstenberg 3) Gosens 4) Max

Can who's currently at 4 goals in 20 games in Serie A .

today started in CL for Juventus where he played the full game and Juventus cameback from a 2-0 loss away to win 3-2 on aggregate vs Atletico Madrid and advance to the QF. He was only a sub in Leg 1.

it does look like he's doing well in Italy. Italy was always known for their defensive work, looks like he's went up a notch there.

that's always why it's good for players to leave 1BL. 1BL is just one style, other leagues play differently, some are actually more suited elsewhere.

also as long as 1BL is trash in Europe, than your better off outside where one can go deeper into CL.

I think the way how Allegri used Can to cover Cancelo

    Can be studied by Loew.

Can is capable to cover Kimmich too

Same with Rüdiger who was raw and often criticized back when he was at Stuttgart. He developed and became defensively much more solid while at Roma.

Gosens while starting up in the Eredivisie is also building up his game to the next level in Serie A

    EL
Chelsea-Rudiger played full game in 5-0 win and advance to EL QF
Arsenal-Mustafi, Leno and Ozil advance to QF. Leno was on bench
Frankfurt-Stendera played 17 min today in the 1-0 win over Inter to advance to QF. Now at 200+ min for the season, really needs to leave. And Frankfurt seem to rate his 00 brother Nils more. Trapp/da Costa/Rode started the win while Russ was unused.

Napoli-Younes played 2 min+injury time as they lost 3-1 to RB Salzburg but still advance on aggregate to the QF
