I would rather relish the depth of the squad at every position except sideback...here is my 23 man list and if Basti, Can, Boateng, Howedes, Draxler all remains fit then this is the squad Loew is going to pick

    1. Neuer
    2. Ter Stegen
    3. Trapp

    4. Rudy
    5. Hector

    6. Boateng
    7. Hummels
    8. Mustafi
    9. Howedes
    10. Rudiger

    11. Kroos
    12. Khedira
    13. Gundogan
    14. Schewinsteiger
    15. Can

    16. Bellarabi
    17. Schurrle

    18. Reus
    19. Draxler

    20. Ozil
    21. Gotze

    22. Muller
    23. Gomez

    -- what a team

Yeahhh awesome team , maybe Lahm will make a surprise return ...

Concern however about boateng , Schweinie , can and Draxler ... That will hurt us if they won't be fit.
    Real pity about badstuber ....

Can can be replaced by Kramer ... Not a fan of Bellrabi ... Guess Poldi will get a place as well .

Let's hope none get injured between now and end of the season. With the BL champion just moments away from being crowned and none of the BL team still in Europe there is a lot less likelihood key players will get injured. Key is no injuries in the Cup final.

Shocking.. was thrilled to see a Kroos/Khedira/Gündogan midfield :X

Dahoud is now the most similar replacement to Gündogan's style.

I think Dahoud is very good, and I would expect to see him in the NT setup sooner rather than later, but don't you think it's a bit sudden to thrust him into the senior NT with no prior experience?

Well I totally agree and I won't force him into the team. I just said that he's the most similar replacement of Ilkay. But.. Dahoud excelled right from the beginning when Favre brought him in in his last Bundesliga match as Gladbach manager and he also excelled in all CL matches this season.

If I would be Jogi I would call him for the camp and then see if he can deliver. Fact is that I would start Kroos/Khedira but there are worse things to have a Dahoud on the bench especially if we miss Gündogan's dynamic.

I dont think this is a big blow. Gündogan has barely played in recent weeks and when he did mediocre. He wasnt a starter in recent games under Löw so....

Real shame about Gündogan, at least midfield is easily the most stacked area in the NT, so it should still be possible to field a strong team. Khedira and Kroos are quality and experienced, and Can has recently returned and is in good form for Liverpool. Youngsters like Weigl, Kimmich and Dahoud are all performing at a consistently high level for big clubs as well. So still plenty of strength in depth.

And I dont want an injury-prone locker room guy like him on the squad who treats his team like this

I see.. So you make character judgments based on a screenshot? Great plan! Because there's no way those things get misinterpreted. For all we know, Tuchel/Klopp is beckoning him off the frame of the shot to give tactical instructions, but sure, keep on going.

This pic is one indicator of his character. There is enough info written out there for how he has behaved in his time at Dortmund. But hey, agree to disagree. It won't make a difference anyway if hes with the team in France or not.

Is Lars Bender still under the radar?

Can be a possible starter at the RB position as well.

Lars Bender, Schmelzer n Hahn. Three players I think would help this team in various areas

Forget about the past. Emre Can is the future.
