Still no offensive quality coming from the mid-field. It's taking Brand and Endemann to finally beat their defender and produce elite crossing to generate chances.

5-1 Germany. Schüller back in Germany and looking like a real deal striker again lol. Nice turn away from the defender, and an excellent low and hard shot to the far post.

There's absolutely nothing down Germany's left now that Cerci is out there. But Mühlhaus keeping things nice and tidy means Germany are doing a better job breaking Austrian pressure...

 

I don't understand removing Endemann and Dallmann from this game, when you have no 4th option on the bench to realistically maintain quality on both wings.

 

FT: 5-1 Germany.

Comfortable end result, where Germany could have honestly won by more if they truly pushed to do so.

I honestly see Senß as my player of the match. But given the goals, and general play, it will be given to Brand.

No stupid antics from Berger, the goal conceeded today not her fault. I hope the days of Berger thinking she needs to be Toni Kroos truly at an end.

Küver - Minge still the best CB partnership. Kett only developing a shot away from being one of the best player in the world.

Senß was great again, but Wück needs to find another DM option for the times Senß suspended, or unavailable.

We knew it during the Euro's, and we still see it now, that Nüsken, and Dallmann, are below the level necessary to truly dictate games on this level of football.

Endemann was quiet, but still overall effective down the left. Brand getting better over the course of the match, with Anyomi doing well with the little she was given.

My biggest take away from this match being Dallmann should be a permanent member of the wide list. Mühlhaus pushed into the cast of AM's.

Cerci providing nothing from the wide role again, it's increasingly frustrating thinking about the way Germany's top striker isn't considered a striker by the wnt...

Mühlhaus holding off physical pressure, keeping the ball moving nice and simple with limited touches, again a reminder why she's currently the leagues #1 CAM.

Oh... and Wamser error for the goal.... The talent for Wamser to be an elite FB is there, but her in game IQ still remains suspect at times.

 

What an understatement! Can it get much worse for Austria?!? Good luck on Saturday, girls!
