Isn't this Italy's last Friendly lol... I feel like this is what you do best right now, no? No long ago Italy would go to Spain and win during a Nations League contest, where your wnt would accomplish this with very similar stats compared to the two latest positive results.
I hope this is just a joke of you! Otherwise The yellow card Boboy had deserved here was shown her in the 90th minute when she kicked the ball away after the whistle.
Boboy was directly involved in two PK's in this match... the first one (the one I'm talking about) happening in the image you posted, seeing her brought down by the GK in a 1v1 around the 52' min mark, where the referee awarded the penalty to Germany without showing a yellow/red card to the GK. The second penalty incident in this game involving Boboy would take place around 55' mark, seeing a Danish defender fouling the opposition striker as she was about to dribble around her. Here though the resulting PK was missed by Boboy. So I'm confused why your talking about a yellow at the end of a game right now, when my comment was simply concerning the fact the first penalty in this game looked like it was in fact a penalty, where the incident directly correlates with our back and forth debate on the rules of this game needing, or not needing, referee's to show yellow or red cards for every foul in 1 on 1 scenarios. Boboy was fouled by the GK during a 1 on 1, the referee decides to award the penalty, and the GK wasn't shown a yellow card... am I crazy to think this the first direct piece of evidence we can both look at to substantiate my entire point of view now...?
@Lohmann A card being "deserved" for an incident that takes place earlier in the match also seems completely random lol... This was your post... yet this image taken from a moment the video evidence seems to suggest it was in fact a legit PK, with the side benefit for me here is having this moment also be the first example of the similar DOGSO between Anyomi and Frohms that you refuse to acknowledge as a normal practice by many referee's in this game. Lots of these 1 on 1 scenarios ending with the GK's never receiving yellow or red cards. And I'm not sure what the late yellow for Boboy in this match has to do with the main subject on DOGSO either...
So can you explain me how the goalkeeper fouled Boboy when she was some meters away from her like all Danish players when Boboy dived? Late yellow has nothing today with DOGSO but with Popp/Matsumoto discussion and you denying Football Laws.
Your either intentionally lying here, or so desperate to be correct, it's making you create false narratives even though there's clear and obvious evidence to say the exact opposite... Dude... you've intentionally taken a misleading still image of Boboy that removes ALL context from what really happens in the rest of this sequence, leading to the referee calling a legitimate foul from the Danish GK... Here is the REAL moment of contact... But you being clearly devious here, would ignore the rest of video evidence, where you clearly see the moment you've frozen being the start of Boboy jumping out to get to the ball before the GK... Seriously... this is crazy seeing you even try to argue this, when the damn video of the entire game easy to access for both of us, with you even receiving praise for such irrational behaviour too...
I NEVER denied the laws of football... with me just recently posting evidence of an EPL game showcasing a player not involved in scoring a match wining goal, picking up and kicking the ball into the stands without receiving any caution from the referee... But of course, you and @blissett apparently both ignored me doing this, because it clearly shows what I've been describing the entire time as the wider game on the elite stage not really fitting the narrow perspective you've both crafted here concerning the "laws of football". A clearly I can't even have an honest discussion on this, as @blissett doesn't even want to acknowledge a world of football existing outside of the women's game... You can see this video... right...?
@Lohmann 1:20:50 slow it down, rewind it, go frame by frame. But I repeat... the fact you intentionally chose to take ONE still image as key evidence here is genuinely ludicrous, and honestly just tells me this no longer a debate based on reason anymore lol. Can referee's caution GK's for DOGSO fouls inside the penalty box... YES. Is it required they always show yellow or red cards for DOGSO fouls inside the penalty box... NO. This shouldn't be hard to grasp... but here you are now, trying to create a narrative around a teenage junior wnt FW being a cheat, to help win a pointless debate concerning a weird dislike you have for Wolfsburg...
a lot of records were broken like; first time the NT lost 5 games in an given year Wück’s 2-2 record probably the slowest start ever for an German NT coach(need Lohmann to verify these two records) with even the u23 loosing, I finally got to say it; Germany will never win an major tournament again unless it gets rid of it’s German coaching(and this includes Wolfsburg) I mean the USA knows better than to hire our own coaches & now look how well we’re doing, lol
It was a weird year, they got the bronze medals at the Olympics and beat Spain but also lost to Iceland, Australia and Italy.
Wück's post match opinions, has him apparently fully aware of what went wrong Vs Italy lol.... However, it should be more obvious to everyone watching why Germany have been able to dominate games, yet still find themselves repeating more of the same errors witnessed under Jones, MVT, and Hrubesch. Hollow remarks from Wück stating why his team has to score goals, but be better at the back, meaning absolutely nothing right now; as this always a basic fact of being successful in football lol. Beating both England, and Switzerland away, but losing to Australia, and Italy at home, I actually believe Wück's post match comment sound like a leader who wants to protect certain individuals within his own coaching staff... The key recurring common themes of Germany wnt being a talented but disjointed wnt, still holding the potential of significant improvement if Wück can finally give these players a REAL system again. Friendly defeats are always going to be annoying... but when these defeats come in games Germany still very dominant, I'm sure players and fans will eat these frustrating moments, if it's going to lead towards the wnt finally returning to wining trophies again at major tournaments.
The thing to take into account is that, with the improvement of women's football, Germany is no longer competing with at best 1 or 2 teams to win trophies but rather with 5 or 6.
Germany with bad coaching just finished a cycle of Euro finalist, WC group stage exit, Nations League 3rd place, and another Olympic Bronze. If Wück can help establish a genuine style of play again, I don't see any reason why a truly organized German wnt can't improve on the results of the recent past. Seriously... if you look back at each of those tournaments, Germany are using 3 or 4 different styles of football.... It's genuinely farcical how unstable this wnt has been in the past lol
Yes and them not winning anything during that period of time except another Olympic Bronze proves my point. 15 or 20 years ago, they would have won the Euros or the World Cup or both essentially with their eyes closed but football is changing. Now the team is obviously too unstable and women's football in the meantime has become more competitive with now not only Germany or Sweden competing at the highest level with it comes to the Euros alone but also Denmark, the Netherlands, England, Spain, France.
Over Wück's first 4 games, the one big factor we've seen introduced is him reverting this team back towards the use of a dedicated CAM. This not being a factor for Germany since the last Euro's, and it instantly resulted in both previous non factors like Dallmann, and Freigang having their best performances in a wnt jersey, with us also knowing potentially stronger options for this role exist too. Other positives in the first 4 games probably being the steady introductions of Senß, Gräwe, and Endemann. Where we even got a small glimpse at Sehitler alongside Wück's apparent aggressive desire to look at more youth, likely to see him create a level of senior wnt depth that removes any future we ever see another selection disaster like the last WC finals. Of course with positives come the negatives... here these probably being GK's making huge errors, as old persistent issues with defensive options not being addressed came back into full focus while the attack didn't function the way it should. But for me bringing Hoffmann into the senior wnt my personal biggest concern, as it's a reminder how truly incompetent the wnt player analysis department is, at a time it's probably never been easier to identify senior wnt prospects... It might sound strange... but I was more disappointed seeing Germany's performance during the Olympics, than I have been watching all of Germany's 1st 4 with Wück.
15-20 years ago, Germany's wnt won their 2nd consecutive World Cup, with a team consisting of established vets who where all hailed as world class talents within their respective positions; one of these hailed as one of the greatest forwards of all time. Take your logic of everything being easy back then, and pass it on to the German wnt's we've seen since that era. How do you explain Germany needing another 13 years post Prinz/Grings for us to see the wnt with Popp functioning like a world class forward... Germany had to be a legit highly organized wnt to attain their past success, with it sounding like your being incredibly disingenuous to suggest otherwise here, present the past competition so bad all Germany had to do was show a lift the trophy... I mean, strong German wnt's in the past had more than one close match during their historic run of consecutive Euro victories. And what's even more crazy is seeing you ignore how Spain the last Euro wnt since Germany to even lift a WC lol. Neid forcing everything towards winning Germany first Olympic gold the moment this team would be set back years in needed development. This decision eventually leading to Jones, Hrubesch, MVT, and back to Hrubesch, like this was any kind of credible path towards attaining future success... Germany produced an historic run of Euro success, that ended with an awful tournament with Jones, followed by a return to the final under a incredibly fraudulent MVT. Don't be so quick to push a narrative of Germany's demise right now, as I've seen more than enough during the recent Euro's, WC, Nations League, Olympics, to genuinely see a future Germany return to lifting a major trophy under Wück...
I never said everything was easy back then, just that women's football is changing and that it has become way more competitve than in the early to mid 2000s and early 2010s when Germany was winning nearly every tournament they qualified for.
It were 6 games lost(France, Iceland, USA, USA, Australia, Italy) but we also had 11 wins. Second defeat: Bisanz 9th match Theune 18th match Neid 22nd match Jones 14th match Hrubesch 19th match Voss-Tecklenburg 22nd match Wück 4th match Second home defeat: Bisanz 7th match Theune 13th match Neid 23rd match Jones 7th match Hrubesch (undefeated in 9 home matches) Voss-Tecklenburg 21st match Wück 2nd match First four matches Bisanz 1 win 3 draws Theune 3 wins 1 draw Neid 4 wins Jones 4 wins Hrubesch 4 wins Voss-Tecklenburg 3 wins 1 draw Wück 2 wins 2 losses
A player, substitute or substituted player who commits any of the following offences is sent off: denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by committing a deliberate handball offence (except a goalkeeper within their penalty area) denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by committing a non-deliberate handball offence outside their own penalty area denying a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent whose overall movement is towards the offender's goal by an offence punishable by a free kick (unless as outlined below) DENYING A GOAL OR AN OBVIOUS GOAL-SCORING OPPORTUNITY (DOGSO) Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball or a challenge for the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.), the offending player must be sent off. So the only correct answer for the question: Is it required they always show yellow or red cards for DOGSO fouls inside the penalty box... is YES
I have a weird dislike for Wolfsburg? And what has this to do with a dive of a Leverkusen player? You wanted to prove that allegedly dislike of Wolfsburg "Plus damn... you've already done this once, with you magically deciding to go very quiet when only a few days later an almost exact replica moment would take place in this league, showcasing why your own increasingly frustrated take wasn't actually as water tight as you wanted everyone to believe" I'm still waiting. You describe your own behaviour very well!
I watched it again and the only question is: Yellow or red card for Boboy? 1. Direct free kick A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following offences against an opponent in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force: charges jumps at kicks or attempts to kick pushes strikes or attempts to strike (including head-butt) tackles or challenges trips or attempts to trip If an offence involves contact it is penalised by a direct free kick or penalty kick. Careless is when a player shows a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or acts without precaution. No disciplinary sanction is needed Reckless is when a player acts with disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, an opponent and must be cautioned Using excessive force is when a player exceeds the necessary use of force and endangers the safety of an opponent and must be sent off Goalkeeper played the ball while Boboy jumped on her. You don't jump this way to get to the ball (or your intention is to injure your opponent)
