German Fraulein National Team 2020 & beyond

This happenens when don't play with your best team. How have I missed this early 0:1's

 

I knew missing Linder's speed would be an issue on the left... but Germany's approach to this match is just as suspect as expected.

No mid-field a recipe for disaster versus opponents like the US.45 mins hoping not to get blown away, only to change things at HT. It's dumb... but Hrubesch keeps doing it, expecting different results...

13 mins, and I can tell Nüsken needs to removed.

 

No pressure on US defenders, no pressure on US mid-fielders, thinking you can beat the US in 1v1 football is STUPID.

So now it's hoping Germany can survive 45 mins of this 4-4-2 trash, before Lohmann can enter the game and change the shape of this team towards something that can actually retain the ball for longer than 2 passes.

 

This is going to be a loooooooooooooooong 45 mins......

Not sure if Minge has touched the ball lol...

Out of absolutely nothing, Gwinn scores from a great long distance strike. They've played like ass, but it's 1-1.

 

Hendrich 2:1 USA

 

Tactically this isn't a contest... Germany equalized, but they don't have a mid-field to prevent the US from doing whatever they want.

Germany's CB's are completely exposed again, and it's 2-1 now from German player losing more 1v1 duels. Hrubesch won't change before HT, but damn... he need to do something before things get out of control.

 

Wow... no Linder is really making Rauch's limitations more annoying today lol. But damn, can Minge and Nüsken actually do anything positive...

Germany can not defend as a team like this without conceding more goals. And I'm thinking Senß and Lohmann need to come on ASAP just to help restrict USA's control over possession.

 

Popp being exposed as a FW playing in a DM role today... As real CM's, Germany really needs Minge and Nüsken to demonstrate some damn composure, and take some responsibility.

Germany have ZERO composure. Panic is the best way to describe this, and while it looks horrible now, I know Hrubesch brings on Lohmann, or Senß, and they get a direct path back into this game.

 

Germany making this a game of transition is suicide.... CALM... they need to show calm.

Right now this is simply counting down until HT so Nüsken can be removed. Again she's a complete passenger on a team that needs everyone playing their part at all times.

So hopefully nothing stupid happens, and Germany can get to half time without more damage.

UGHHHHHH Game over....

Deflected goal, but come on Hrubech... wake up. Every problem this team has had, and he's still persisting with this damn system, and key poor player selections.

3-1, could end up 4 and 5 if he doesn't change this. And what's annoying is knowing this is exactly what would happen...

 

Good game though Germany is making the US look way better than they actually are.

 

I can't believe dummies were genuinely praising this style of play after results Vs Austria and Australia...

This is a TEAM sport, where Germany aren't a particularly good team within this horrible individualistic system the program has forced on to their players.

As usual we get to witness 45 mins of garbage, waiting for HT so the coaches can change the formation to give the team some chance of rectifying another horrible performance...

So 3-1 at HT, and it could get MUCH worse if Hrubesh allows this to persist for another 45 mins. Leaving me hoping to see a formation adjustment, with Minge and Nüsken replaced with Lohmann, and Senß.

USA look a million miles ahead of Germany tactically, and Germany are still creating offense..., telling you how important a genuine style of play can be for any group of players.

And what's really scary about this, is knowing Hrubesch will take the same garbage into the next matches he has with his team, likely seeing embracement Vs Zambia, before eventually elimination in the knock out stage...

 

Oh... and the step up for Minge tonight has been too much. She's not prepared for this tempo of play, either out of position to effect the game defensively, or lacking the composure to complete forward passes, she's not able to match the tempo required of her.

While I hoped she could produce the two way box to box qualities Germany needs, it clear the leap from Freiburg to a senior tournament too much of a task for her right now.

So it clear now why I would have loved to see Magull and Lattwein at this tournament, but seeing how limited the options are right now, I think Minge, might need to join Nüsken, and Freigang as bench players...

Germany are going to get embarrassed if he doesn't change this...

 

Maybe Hrubesch want to finish in second place to play against Colombia?

 

I just came in here to ask why this chick is on the team. She's terrible.
