@Batfink thanks for all the input. I noticed from the timeline giving that you gave a whole three hours on your replies to lil ole me! Unfortunately I don’t got that time in hand to do likewise, but a did want to highlight a few things; on your defense of Oberdorf you mentioned that she won ‘best young player at the 2022 Euros’—-that’s all fine & dandy but that don’t make her the best DM in the world my critique on you is always dredge up the past rather than the present…..this time you went all the way back to 2007! lol(your Greg Ryan comments) other things; your free to go on American threads(Blissett & Lohmann do) and criticize American players(just don’t call everybody ‘Fraud’ that happen to disagree with you, lol) even at cult favorite Japan thread, foreign posters will often criticize players & coaching abilities(no different at American threads) so Germany & US are the teams I follow and I got pushback from American fans just as bad when I kept predicting Spain was going to win the World Cup I’ve been a royal German fan, possibly more than you do as I remember you have up for over a year after the 2019 WC exit(remember?) from everything I know from from following teams if they want to win Germany be wise to low block the US and long & high ball it. This all would also mean for the CB’s to play side by side in support of each other rather than one far above another now if I wanted the US to win, then please go ahead and let the CB’s drift away from each other(which even is shown in most of those goals your videos highlighted)

Ughhhh... I've seen this exact same 4-4-2 nonsense with the u17's and the u19's... There not even applying any pressure on Australia's defenders.... wow...
Germany lead but look like ass lol.... Tactically, this has been a ridiculously fraudulent display, where Germany aren't even attempting to control this match through their mid-field; aka a recipe for disaster vs superior opposition. It's only match day one, but long balls, counter attacks, no pressing.... not good enough in my opinion if this team wants to compete for a medal.
This is EXACTLY like watching the u17's and u19... You remove Nüsken and put on Senß, or Lohmann, they would be a far more balanced outfield 11, retaining better possession, and start to create better goal scoring chances. This team doesn't need anyone next to Schüller, but needs an extra body in CM.
1-0 HT. I can't understand the thought process that has a coach think it smart to have Bühl and Brand constantly standing around the half way line.. It's just instantly removed the teams best source of creativity and goals from having any real influence on the attack.... And just like we saw through the Euro qualification, this use of a 4-4-2 negatively effects the speed of Germany game too, this time the teams general play looking absolutely ponderous Vs Australia. The frustration of Schüller being reduced to a complete spectator, made worse knowing Nüsken provides nothing to this teams ability to attack, or defend (she's a passenger) I can't believe this is still happening lol, but another underwhelming 1st 45 mins, requires Hrubesch will need to bring on another mid-fielder (like we've seen so many times previously) to make this damn team play some real football.
Lohmann replaces Nüsken, and now Germany needs to wake up, and start to play with some damn intensity. Without the ball this has been a very suspect display. But now the team has an actual AM on the field to help progress play centrally.
Can Popp slap Brand in the back of the head lol. She's playing like a child lol... such poor decision making today... And Lohmann needs to play her own way, moving into positions she can actually start to effect play.
PRESSING... and a good passing decision from Brand, but Schüller wastes her first clear look at goal... Bühl needs to get into this match though. She's Germany's most effective forward for 2 years now. but she's spent most of this game in mid-field.
This team shape is still 4-4-2, and it's seen Bühl spending most of time covering the runs of Austria's wing back... Without the ball Germany have also been really poor, but in possession the lack of a real mid-field has been incredibly disappointing, as it's removed the teams ability to generate reliable offense through their most effective forward.
3-0 from the best move of the match. Linder joining the trio of Bühl - Schüller - Brand to end a match the team not been anywhere near their best. Hrubesch needs to wake up and stop trying to force Schüller to play next to another striker..., a front 3 always the most effective way for this team to play. It will be interesting to see how Hrubesch does with subs now, as this was a huge issue with MVT during her time as head coach...
LOL... Hrubesch is using Senß as an AM... The leagues #1 DM for the past 3 years, is being deployed as a CAM/AM for the wnt... The wnt's player analysis department is run from an asylum...
