03 CF Wasilewski provisionally capped by Poland has left Dortmund U17 and joined Bochum U17. Was never making it at Dortmund between Moukoko and Fink.

    Bochum has no II team.

2 German-Croatians called up to Croatia U17. Why do they get called up?
    A-German-Croatian
    B-Play at Bayern Munich
    C-Not starters at their club.

Answer B, LOL.At this point every other FA poach or try to poach any dual at Bayern. Seriously how do you call up players who don't even start in U17.....

most always think Rexhbecaj headed to Kosovo. Ademi seems like he could play for Swiss NT and he should honestly.

while Berisha and Dajaku prefer Germany.

will say this again if ALL German-Kosovar play for Kosovo, their team will get a lot stronger. We got lots of German-Kosovo kids in younger age groups,

yeah, he's interested because he seems to believe he's never going to make it in Germany. Said it from the beginning these kids will be poached faster than ever and other FAs can offer them Senior NT football faster than Germany ever would.

Jakobs has never been called up by dfb at any level. I'm sure we are interested to call him up to U21 but U21 vs Senior NT.......

NT is becoming more and more like club football. Players will go to clubs (NTs) who offer them 1st team football (Senior NT) directly. Players are less and less into the whole move to a club to play II (U21) and MAYBE one day you'll make the 1st team (Senior NT).

let's say he goes to Germany U21 for 2 years. Then how long does he wait to see if he gets senior NT call up, another 2-3 years? So essentially he could waste 4-5 years and not end up in Senior NT. While Senegal want to call him up to Senior NT NOW.

this is the HUGE problem with duals. Outside of the big countries of the world, which is like what less than 10 countries, like Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Brazil, Argentina. Those are the countries with higher standards for Senior NT call ups. Every other country in the world, they ALL got low standards to make the Senior NT. Low standards in the mold that if you establish yourself in XI of top league, that's = to Senior NT call up. Even more true since poaching=luring players to your FA, so have to make it more worth their while.

For Germany, playing 1st pro season isn't enough for Senior NT. At this point, any and all German duals who establish themselves in XI in 1BL, there will be attempts to poach or successful poaching.....

01 German-Pole Nawrocki signs pro contract and is now 2nd German dual that doesn't play for Germany who has Bremen pro contract following 00-Gruev.

    MAIK NAWROCKI SIGNS PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT

Center-back talent Maik Nawrocki has signed his first professional contract with SV Werder Bremen. Born in Bremen, who has been playing for the green-whites since he was five years old, is playing for the U19 this season.

"With Maik we were able to retain a great defense talent in the long term. We are very satisfied with its development and are pleased that it will continue to appear in SV Werder's jersey for the next few years, ”says Frank Baumann, Managing Director of Football.

Björn Schierenbeck, Director of the WERDER Performance Center, adds: “The great development of Maik is proof of the good work of our trainers and employees in the WERDER Performance Center. We are all very pleased that he is given the opportunity to take his next steps in our Bundesliga team. "

Nawrocki, who has already played 33 youth games for Poland and was part of Poland's squad at the U20 World Cup last year, is proud to have signed his first contract. “As a native of Bremen, it is a great honor for me to be under contract with Werder. I would like to take the next steps here and recommend myself about my achievements for the Bundesliga squad, ”said the 19-year-old.

Nawrocki made ten games this season for the U19, the leaders of the A-Junior Bundesliga North / North-East, in which he scored five goals. He also made his Regional League debut in the U23 jersey in June and was on the pitch for the SV Werder Bundesliga team for the first time at the test game in October at FC St. Pauli. For Poland, the 1.90 meter defensive specialist has already made nine competitive games in the U19, in which he scored twice.

France also have the same problem as Germany but they weren’t affected as much because they have a much bigger talent pool . They rely a lot on African descents and these players got poached by African countries earlier than France

our issue is that we don’t have enough talents in each age group now.

    00-Gruev as mentioned above.

    Kohfeldt praises Talent Gruev's development
Talent Ilia Gruev seems to be on the right track at SV Werder Bremen in the past weeks and months. At the press event on Thursday before the 23rd matchday, head coach Florian Kohfeldt praised the development of the defensive midfielder, but at the same time the 37-year-old also called for patience.

"Illi has shown in the past few weeks that he has taken a step in his development. He has grown physically and has become quicker to act. But he is not yet competitive with the players who play on the positions," said the trainer an insight into the current status of the 19-year-old.

    Kohfeldt even believes in minutes

Kohfeldt would "even trust the son of the Werderan co-trainer of the same name (also Ilia Gruev) under certain circumstances."

He alluded to suspensions and injuries, which are also present on matchday 23 against Borussia Dortmund (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.) in the central field - as Maximilian Eggestein (5th yellow), Christian Groß (illness), Kevin Vogt (Tendon injury in the knee) and Philipp Bargfrede (under construction after calf injury) fail.

Gruev should be built up in the long term
The further course of action of the North Germans with the youngster is, however, designed in the longer term.

"Among other things, the plan at Illi was to get the optimal training support this year and then take the next step next year. The development of him has been remarkable in the past eight months," Kohfeldt concluded about the Bulgarian Junior national player who signed his first professional contract with the green-whites last April.

However, results surpassed all expectations and Kosovo's rise in the last two years has been one of the most remarkable stories in international football.

The country of 1.8 million people, which declared independence from Serbia in 2008, was finally accepted as a member of UEFA, and then FIFA, in 2016.

An estimated 800,000 Kosovars live abroad and much of Challandes's time has been spent trawling the Diaspora for potential players and watching videos in search of new recruits, often competing with Albania, Switzerland, Germany and other nations to win their allegiance.

While forward Mergim Berisha had accepted a call-up from Germany's Under-21 team and others have chosen Switzerland, many had picked Kosovo. Arguably the most important catch was forward Valon Berisha who played 20 times for Norway before switching in 2016.

    BIGGER NATIONS

Challandes said he could understand why players might choose bigger nations and that he did not stand in their way.

"The players must decide with a football mind," he said. "A modern player wants to play at the European championship, at the World Cup, in a top league in Europe. The choice of national team is about how do he has a better chance of achieving these goals and, for me, that is fine."

But he added that players would inevitably face fierce competition for places if they chose Germany or Switzerland, and that playing for Kosovo had helped numerous players in their club careers. "It is a beautiful shop window," he said.

Challandes said Kosovo's history meant players had a special pride.

"These players are hungry, their families are behind them, the whole country is behind them and they feel that," he said. "It is very difficult for opponents to play in Pristina."

But he does not like to dwell on the political situation.

"I don't want to talk about that too much. I know it exists, that a lot of these players left the country with their families during the war or were born abroad, this all belongs to history," he said. "I just want to think about football."

Kosovo's first playoff will be away to North Macedonia and they must then beat either Georgia or Belarus, also away, to qualify for Euro 2020.

"It is still just a dream," Challandes said. "We have two very difficult matches to play, both away from home. I don't want too much pressure, I don't want to talk too much about the European championship."

"But every big achievement begins with a dream." (
