Gladbach is a pretty big test for Farke. His most notable achievement so far has been guiding Norwich in promotion to the EPL twice, but went down instantly the first time, and then sacked part way thru the second time around. He then took a job in the Russian league but didn't actually get to coach any matches after the left due to the war.

Maassen is supposed to be next big Coaching Talent. Whether next Hannes Wolf or Nagelsmann time will tell.
Maassen has done a reasonably good job at the Dortmund reserves so this seems like the next step up. Since the more promising young coaches tend to skip the 2BL and head straight into the big leagues Augsburg do have some interesting young pieces to work with now so it'll be interesting how they end up doing
