Abramovich is reportedly a fan of Nagelsmann https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/jjlofl/telegraph_roman_abramovich_is_said_to_an_admirer/
Pathetic performance. Leipzig created nothing all game. With a lot of people calling Solskjaer a fraud and all the praise Nagelsmann gets, I was expecting Leipzig to get something from the game. Being humiliated 5-0 is terrible for the image of the Bundesliga. Nagelsmann is also getting a lot of stick for his jacket tonight. People are using adjectives like "pretentious" and "attention seeker."
Criticism fully deserved for Nagelsmann. He wanted the spotlight and got it delivered in the worst way possible. These are the type of results I remember seeing Schalke and Leverkusen have in Europe when they the likes of Jens Keller and Sami Hyppia were managing them. Losing is okay but you need to lose in a reasonable and constructive manner. Nagelsmann needs to take this slice of humble pie and learn from it.
To be fair, they did okay-ish for the first 73 minutes. They were still in the game losing by only a goal. The problem was that they created almost nothing all game. There was no creativity whatsoever. Nkunku had a half chance from a tight angle and Konate had a header also from a very tight angle. Nagelsmann made very attacking substitutions and changed the formation so it was much easier for Man Utd. They had a lot of space and scored 4 goals in the last 16 minutes. When the high pressing doesn't work, Nagelsmann needs to give his players solutions to break down defensive teams. Also, I think the difference in class between the Leipzig and Man Utd players was really obvious. Wan Bissaka, Shaw, Pogba, Martial, etc looked way better in the individual duels/1v1 situations. They were faster/stronger/better in a lot of the key 50-50 situations. Nagelsmann has to work with inferior players. Not much he can do about that.
Buli clubs that are not Bayern and Dortmund will always be beaten out on budget and player depth by the big spenders in Europe so that's just a reality. Which is why they'll need to work towards outplaying their opponents in either tactics, effort and sometimes luck. Even though they botched the ending, Gladbach held their own for most of the game against Real Madrid yesterday, even though the latter have the better players. Nagelsmann is someone that's hailed to be the next great coach from Germany, to follow in the footsteps of Klopp and such. But he needs to follow through and achieve steady results each step of the way.

Klopp's Liverpool finished in a 1-1 draw vs Man City. They now slip into 3rd place in the EPL table behind Leceister and Tottenham in terms of points and GD after 8 match days. Top half of the table still remains tight. While in Eredivisie, both Letsch's Vitesse and Schmidt's PSV won to keep up in the standings and currently sit 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Quality 3-0 win for Liverpool over Leicester, one of the top teams so far this season in EPL. The Reds remain even on points with Tottenham at 20 points after 9 match day
Schmidt's PSV with a 3-2 comeback win to beat PAOK in Europa. PSV move into 2nd place with a one point lead over them after 4 match days in Group E
Yes he is, which isn't surprising. Dude is a walking injury just waiting to happen. He'd be fortunate to play in 50% of their matches this season
I honestly didn't notice that Norwich are in 1st place. I wonder would he fare better at 2nd EPL attempt. His 1st went badly mostly because low budget with a squad mostly made of 2nd division level players.
Tbh, if Norwich get promoted with the same budget and strategy then I don't expect anything different the second time around. At most one season of survival like Huddersfield but it's not sustainable long term. Fulham and West Brom are getting wrecked this season so far.
