Not sure if this is old news, new news, or no news, but it seems one George Weah Jr. has recently stated that his two main goals are cracking the starting eleven at AC Milan and playing for the U.S. senior men's national team. I know nothing about this kid.(except that his daddy was pretty good) Is this worth getting exited about?
He certainly has the genetic makeup to be a great player. And he's certainly getting proper training at Milan. So why not get excited? If he gets tooo good the Italians will be all over him to don the Azzuri.
I'm gonna move this thread to the Youth forums where the main mods there (SueB and RobtheAggie) may decide to merge it with other threads.
GW, Jr was discussed extensively here a couple months back: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98375&page=1&pp=40 and https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97033&highlight=weah A search of this forum on "Weah" also turns up apparent mention of him in all these threads: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/search.php?searchid=43181
