Oh My gosh. This guy is the ONE! We may have struck gold with this kid! 3 goals in four games! Put this kid on the field and let him go GONZAGA!!
Actually, three in three games. He didn't play against the U17's. He probably would have had a had-trick in that one and they didn't want to embarrass the youngsters.
From Wiki.... In 2007, Chandler played 13 matches for California Victory, a USL First Division professional soccer team that folded in September 2007. In February 2008 Chandler was on trial for the Norwegian 1st Division side Sandefjord Fotball, playing in the pre-season friendlies vs. FC Lyn Oslo [1] on 1 February 2008 (0-3) and vs. Raufoss IL on 13 February 2008 (3-3),[2] but did not achieve a contract. Interesting.......
"George Josten" The name seems so classic. The first time I heard it I thought of some classic English footballer from the sixties.
The Josten name has a history of providing Championship Rings so we can all hope. On a side note from the link.... Championship Rings for Fantasy Sports? Really?
I note that Iro has been added to the team roster on thecrew.com. Josten however, and the rest of the other new young guns have been left off. What gives?
At our high school we would order them in the spring of our sophomore year, and they would arrive in the fall of our junior year. We had a choice of red or blue stones (school colors), and a round or facet cut stone, and all the rings were gold. That was about it. I had to save up my own money for it. In 1971 when I ordered it, the price was a pricey $32.00. When my kids got theirs in the late 90's, the price was somewhere in the triple digits, and you had zillions of choices of styles and colors and engravings. If you were lucky, the kids would put their school initials on the ring. Maybe.
I just can't get the Jetson's out of my head. Every time I hear his name = his boy Elroy daughter Judy Jane his wife I just can't help it. If he has short red hair, I'll never be able to get it out of my head. What does he look like?
He didn't seem to be real tall either (I go 5'10" and I don't think he was taller than me). In any case, I was hearing at the Corporate Reception that the coaches are quite pleased with him--not just with his scoring but his skill set and what he brings to the game. He's a rookie, so it's too soon to tell, but they do like him quite a bit at the moment.
Way too early to make that comparison, my friend. Though I'll be extremely pleased if it ended up being that way.
