This should be the last tuneup match. I believe the 2BL starts next weekend.

Well, I’m sure he played well. Probably one of their better players.

No one appears to have a good rating on Bielefeld for today. And they are already in the relegation zone.

I wonder as Armenia struggles all year, and Bello is in and out of the line up, what excuses will be used for him.
He showed he was in over his head last year but I kept getting told he was good.

Then again, there was a clown on the Nats board who said Andrade, AB’s stiff of a CB from Panama, was clearly better than Zim and Robinson because he watched a few matches with a real good Bello.

Good grief. That one stuck with me. So sure, so adamant, so aggressive, so cluless.

None of this was all that unpredictable. This team still has no offense, is built to bunker, and has almost no creativity.

IMO, these performances are not a blip, and our boy is part of the problem.

They have a team far too strong to be relegated. At worst they fail to make the prom playoff. Losing at home to Regensburg is very bad though, they were releg candidates last season.

Could wind up attack Ryan Malone on the right side of the Hansa Rostock defense, the highest-level American Abroad no one ever mentions in any context.

His club's attitude toward using social media makes it really hard to pick up even the basics of what's going on. They tweeted 6 times from a couple of hours before the game until after the match. No lineup posted and only two (2!) game tweets (at 1' & 90'). During the same period, Bielefeld tweeted about 50 times.

Yes, him being older than the average and having come up the ranks quietly add to the anonymity, but most of us who follow the daily game flow don't want to keep switching platforms for a player who already gets little notice.

Well, a lot of folks like to bash Atlanta United for their use of youth and ID‘ing players incorrectly.

Can‘t argue with those folks on this one. I feared this team was gonna be bad even for B2. Also thought Bello could easily just be a bench player. Horrific start to the season. How are they gonna score goals? Bello at wing maybe? Not kidding either.

The almost assist was a nice pass by Bello.

Hamburg's second goal came when Bello drove forward but was stripped of the ball around midfield. Hamburg scored on the counter from a Laszlo Benes thunder bolt.

He's making a solid case to remain on the bench.

Bello's little dribbling run that led to Hamburg's second goal was pretty good - but he blew the pass to a completely wide open teammate.

I don't understand his positioning - he consistently doesn't come back far enough to help with the buildup or defend. My understanding of the position is different than his and it makes me crazy.

However, that almost assist was perfectly paced and placed, and forced an excellent save.
