See, this is why I never read the boards of other teams. I honestly refuse to bother arguing with other supporters about this (I'll still make fun of them here, of course). "Metro favoritism has gotten way out of hand". Right. Every time our management does something stupid, it's because they are stupid (a point I can't dispute, mind you). Every time they do something right, the league office is tilting the entire balance of power to suit Metro and the only reason it happened in the first place is because Pepsi/Honda/Bud/Jesus want better advertising visibility in NY, so they are stepping on Garber and MLS to make Metro a winner because they think that is the end-all/be-all profit maker. If you believe them, Bradley is being held at gunpoint and being forced to go back to his hometown to coach in NJ against his will. Makes a lot of sense. The only way this would be a conspiracy is if the Fire received only a 3rd round 2003 draft pick. If the other thread is correct, and Faria (one of the Metros top scorers the last 2 years) is sent to Chicago as compensation, it would seem MLS is "conspiring" to leave the Metros with one legit forward with 2 ACL tears, who happens to be in the last year of his contract.
