We're real low on traffic lately, so I thought I'd open a more general topic.

    Two quick points.

    1. Hells yes to getting another away point off a top half team. The boys' defensive efforts have been phenomenal this season thusfar.

    2. Anyone else watching the Chelsea/Arsenal match? Quality.

I think we have more off-loading to do this winter than buying, no??

I wonder why Nevland and Andreasen are staying put and staying quiet.

    Posting to bump a bit...

Kinda bummed we didn't get to play this weekend. The boys were on a bit of a roll and a home match with Blackburn smelled like a rampant victory. Hope they don't lose momentum...

I doubt we lost any momentum. Any one see Bullard or Brede leaving this transfer window??

Like I mentioned before, my whole week went to hell when I couldnt see the boys play. Atleast were still in the top half with 2 games to play eh??

    1. When will the Blackburn match be rescheduled to?
    2. I think this is a good squad when fully healthy. I guess one more attacking player would be good b/c we don't score a lot of goals, but I think the talent is there, just something is missing. The defense has been great.

Andreasen hasn't been staying quiet... he's looking for a way out.

Bullard out of the squad again for this weekend... truth to the injury bug, orrrrr...?

Complete stinker by 3 individuals. Paintsil, Konch(even thought his goal is the goal of the season so far IMO), and Euthu. I never saw the quality in Etuhu anyway. It should be Andreasen playing behind Murphy. Lets hope we can get it together against Sunderland.

Yeah we need Bullard back soon, or need to purchase another midfielder. Yesterday was rough and we need to get something next Tuesday against Sunderland or we are going to be back in the relegation fight.

I'd go anywhere in North America to see them this Spring... anywhere is a stretch, unfortunately.

Heck of a win today to keep us far away from the relegation struggle.

Can't wait to catch the game on delay...

Well, the past few games have not gone quite as I had hoped, but a nice win today against Portsmouth.

Yeah they finished the month on a strong note and are 7 points clear of the bottom three, which isn't time for relaxation. However a lot of teams have to start picking up points behind us for Fulham to be in danger of the drop. This month is not very favorable on the schedule, but we need to pick up points whenever we can.

    The next two months:
    @ Wigan
    @ FA Cup Swansea
    @ Man United
    West Brom
    @ Arsenal
    Hull City
    Blackburn
    @ Bolton
    Man U

That is not an easy slate of games. We really need 3 points at home against West Brom, Hull, and Blackburn, then anything we can pick up on the road is a nice bonus.

We should have won today. 2 sitters missed by Zamora. Wigan showed little threat on our goal. That should have been taken advantage of. Great addition in Dacourt. Came on for Etuhu in the 45th as he went off injured. Showed great defensive qualities from midfield. On to ManYoo.

Tough loss yesterday, but I dont understand why he went with a 4-5-1. It was so clear that we went there to defend. Oh well.

A little off topic since he doesnt play for us any more, but poor Jimmy B is out for the rest of the season. Not happy he's injured, just happy he wasnt with us.

His injury prone-ness is likely one of (several) reasons that Roy didn't want to re-sign him at his asking price.

Bullet dodged as far as I'm concerned.

    On to Fulham...

The loss at OT is no big surprise. I'm a bit disapointed that we didn't show as well as we should have. But it was never likely to yield points for the Cottagers and we have 2 big games in very short order coming up. 3pts this weekend at home to bottom-dwellers West Brom is nothing less than essential if we don't want to get sucked into the bottom-half quagmire. And while less important, moving on in the FA Cup would put some really useful $ in the team coffers.

    COYW!

Good win today. Bobby Z finally got back on the score sheet. It should have been like 6-0 with all the woodwork involved.

Now we have Swansea @ home on the 24th, and the Arse @ the Emirates on the 28th.

Fantastic performance today against the Gunners!

Hard to believe the team that pulled itself tooth and nail out of relegation last season just outplayed Arsenal at the Emirates.

Another hard-fought, non-bunker away draw against quality opposition. I'll take it every time...

    Re: Generic Fulham Forum Thread

To be very honest, I was annoyed with the draw. I think we could have pulled off a win. When we strung together like 30 passes in a row, and all of them were back or to the side, I got really pissed. They didnt even try to attack. We were afraid. We aint going to get too many away goals/wins that way. But, a point and no goals conceded at the Emirates is still good.

Should be 2 home wins coming up.

COYW!!!! (I so want the UEFA Cup this year.)

Originally, I followed Fulham because of the American players, go figure ;)

I was somewhat bummed all we have left is Dempsey; however, looking at how they played away vs. Arsenal. I think I picked a good team make it a point to watch.

I like to watch the darkhorse. And I really love to see how far Fulham has progressed. 8 seasons now in the premiership ~ pretty awesome.
Just would be nice if they get into the champions league, not gonna hold my breath given they can’t win while away tho.
