Or, copy and paste fluff with no source information and nothing that truly shows legitimacy. That is one way to do it.
might be "fluff", but it seemed to me that he might have wanted to know some basic information about the subject. I did a basic google search, so I have no idea if it is legit or not, I am not a research scientist nor am I obligated to source to what appears to be some sort of a press release...I believe that we have gone down this road before, if you don't like what I post or how I post there is always the ignore button...suggest that you might want to use it.
It's better than when he bumps up threads that are 8-10 years old just to post something that's literally unrelated to the thread itself.
and if you just go ahead and also hit that ignore button...then you will be spared from my postings which apparently annoy you so much.
To be fair, I can google, I was looking for more "behind the curtain" than the PR statements. It's fine though, post what you want, I'm not shaming that.
no worries, as has been kinda stated earlier, their whole set-up is a bit of scam...once anyone starts talking about college scholarship monies...run for the hills!
So in the Chicago area, Dutch Lions does not have any youth development presence. When I saw the deal, my guess is that Chicago City would feed high performing youth from its academy into the USL2 while saving organizational costs on things like facilities. It seems to me that Dutch Lions will be the major beneficiary unless Dutch Lions is bringing money and organization to the table.
USL2 is a losing endeavor for most entities. Consolidating expenses benefits both groups in this regard. Neither is strong. It saves both ownerships a bit of money.
