In its inaugural edition, the UECL has set aside €235m ($248m) to be distributed among the participating teams, UEFA explains. The trophy winners will pocket about €20 million ($21m), while the runners-up will collect a little more than $18m. https://www.forbes.com/sites/daniel...-the-value-of-the-tournament/?sh=c21b1ce3febb
Thanks for the article link. To that money, you can add stadium revenue from ticket sales (season tickets do not apply to UECL matches), hospitality and merchandising, which would amount to at least 10m euros from the seven home UECL matches we had this season.

It’s seeming to me like the Zaniolo deal, it’s just coming down to his salary. Unfortunately he hasn’t done much to warrant much more money, he is not and doesn’t deserve to be on top player salary. He is still a prospect, he’s young, is coming back from injury, and messed up quite a bit last season, even if it is too tough to criticize him after two major injuries. He has to also be realistic, And Club will not be taken Ransom.
Probably Jose's high point of his career. That guy almost didn't make it in football. He was playing in the German lower leagues working part-time in warehouse. At that point he was thinking of working full time in the warehouse because he had a family to feed and didn't want to be a deadbeat like his own father, but he caught a lucky break when he signed for Olympiacos.
True, he almost didn't make it but it was 1860 Munich that gave him his lucky break and he spent 4 or 5 years there. You earn good money in Bundesliga 2. Before them he was playing amateur.

As per normal Roma gets boned with the scheduling. Napoli, Juve and Atalanta all back to back to back. Brutal.
+ Milan. But all at a time where there'll be only one game per week. Could've been worse. Milan has to play Lazio, Inter, Juve, Napoli and us from round 3 to 10 where the CL group stage games will take place too.
It's only normal to get at least one tough run of games tbf. I like to see a fixture released that sees us have an easier (looking) start to the season....and I think we got that.
I saw that.... Il calendario della AS Roma della Serie A 2023/2024 #ASRoma #seriea At least Roma has a 3 game "homestand" including the derby on November, playing Lecce, Lazio and Udinese....
The biggest problem would be the end of the season where the 31st to 37th game would be quite a damper to our ability to maintain whatever position we've gained by the 30th round, as all of those 6 games bunched together are potential point drops for us.
