Agreed. He's definitely a sub-elite striker. The fees that clubs are going to now be demanding for their strikers by using this as a reference point will be ridiculous.

It probably be a boost for the Saudi league who are not going away despite a rocky start.

If you include Palmer that's about 350m spent on wingers in the last two years or so.

Chelsea seem to have an addiction to spending.

De Ligt is basically the Dutch Dier so I'm not sure how well he'll do in the Premier League.

Brighton are real talent hoarders. I don't see how they need Rutter or where he fits in. Their non-striker forward line is incredibly bloated. March, Pedro, Enciso, Mitoma, Adingra, ACD, Minteh, Guda, Osman and Rutter is complete overkill, especially given most of those are young players who need a lot of minutes.

I wonder if Cozier-Duberry might be having second thoughts on whether he chose the right club if he wants first team football. Feels like it will be tough for him.

He probably should be. Their plan is obviously to sign these youngsters, develop them and sell them on for a tonne of profit but I don't see where they're going to find the minutes to develop all of these players. They're paying big fees for most of them too so they need to develop them very well to make a lot of money back.

I can’t help but really hope Ipswich do really well this season and end sending a message to other Clubs that they can find gems in the Championship or young English talent and not always look abroad for players.

Beyond clueless. How can you conclude that the thing that's wrong with Cobham is that it's not producing first team ready players. Clowns of the highest order.

Bit of a weird one tbh trying to say their academy players aren’t premier league ready like City. I mean we only have Foden as a proven first 11 player. Sure we have a few others who are good like Bobb and Lewis but Chelsea have had plenty more over the years. I mean they sell there premier league ‘ ready ‘ players like Lewis Hall.

I genuinely can't think of an academy that's been better at producing first-team ready players than Cobham has in recent years. Teams throughout the Premier League are littered with Cobham graduates and there are plenty across Europe's top five leagues too.

Germany are one to watch over the next few months. They having a big transition and have to replace some players who were very important to them at the Euros.

This guy must be one of the most overrated players of modern times. You still see people claiming he’s going to breakout soon.
