Love the way we automatically get blamed by our neighbours without any information whatsoever! We’ve all seen the information about Serbian hooliganis travelling to attack the English but yeah, it’s our fault.

Don't know how true it is but the papers are saying it was started by our fans.

Yeah more information coming out about Albanians ambushing Serbian and English fans in bars. This doesn’t surprise me since Albania and Serbia have serious hatred for each other. However doesn’t stop the Irish and Scots automatically blaming the English and will just continue to spread that narrative because that’s what they want.

The Telegraph say ‘ It is believed it was a group of English fans who attacked Serbians at an Italian restaurant.‘.

    The German police say otherwise

Multiple terror attacks in Europe this week but all you'll hear from the media is waffle about England fans singing obnoxious songs.

Meanwhile three Scottish fans were arrested and fined for kicking a German woman.

The Scots embarrassed themselves with there behaviour in London 3 years ago, you won't hear much criticism or self reflection on there behalf. They'll be quick to amplify Serbia-Albanian fan violence as English troublemakers, you've just got to filter the misinformation these days.

Is a transfer levy in the PL a good idea or not. It is back on the table.

An interesting idea but I suspect could get a bit messy if implemented before 2029 (When the new PL and FA cup broadcasting contract expires) which the contracts would have to breached by the PL and FA to fulfil no weekend evening matches. And for mid weeks matches they could try and have them more local but not possible for the league cup.

Interesting Scotland, Northern England and Wales the worse hit when Land is more valuable in the souther of England. Maybe all the pitches and already gone? Here in London I can only really think of parks and some over protected lands that are pitches.

Yeah the Scots seem very disproportionately hit. I feel like you have a much higher volume of all-weather pitches than most of the rest of the country which the ideal really given our weather. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if the grass pitches being sold off were being replaced by all-weather pitches at a similar rate but they're not.

That’s terrible! I don’t understand why these issues aren’t raised by the FA towards the Government or whoever is responsible! I’m from the North originally and I know quite a few pitches I used to play on as a kid now housing estates sadly.

The FA doesn’t have a lot of clout or influence.

Or they are just incompetent idiots! I mean if there was a big issue about losing grassroot playing facilities, why wouldn’t they go to the media for attention and put pressure put on the government.

The thing that I always found interesting about Hansen is that he was crippled with nerves as a player and pundit. Before big games he’d throw up. He retired from both football and punditry because of his nerves. Surprising that he managed to be so successful.
