Really? Thats a bit knee jerk isn’t it? They have plenty of competitions going for them this season, surely he will get plenty of playing time throughout I would have thought unless they buy more players for his position of which I doubt.

If the FA want to sell Wembley and Andy Burnham PMship would probably be a good time to do so without any political backlash. Through I would imagine a commitment to have less matches at Wembley might affect the price the FA could get for it. Unless they move every May match out if it the concert season can’t be extended to that month and that is where the money for new owners would be made if football matches there are in single figures.
Because it fits the mood at the moment to sell of something in London and give the money to across the country.
Do you have any facts on this? I haven’t heard anything for quite some time about the FA wanting to sell Wembley again.
Nothing has bene said since the last failed attempt but I’m just saying if they wanted to now might be a good time.

I'm old enough to remember when "a new challenge" was something players sought after a decade at a club where they think they've accomplished all that they can, not a kid with 50 league appearances.
Major stadium update from #mufcNew stadium land secured https://t.co/qCWzMqbEfG— Nathan Salt (@NathSalt1) June 22, 2026 Going to be hard for the FA to justify not moving a lot of the matches at Wembley to what will be a bigger stadium.
I've always felt that the massive clubs in England a weirdly unambitious with their stadiums, especially in London. I bet Spurs could fill a 100,000 seater, never mind United.
Spurs on a few occasions sold out Wembley when they were there, so they could definitely get a much larger crowd, especially when you consider Wembley was a pain in the arse to get to for a large chunk of fans. Not sure how much bigger Spurs could have realistically made the new stadium though, the footprint of the stadium was quite restricted.
Yeah it's worth considering that a lot of these American stadiums are a hell of a long way outside of the city centre and in the middle of acres of car park off the side of a motorway. They have the means to build these stadiums that would be far harder to build in European cities for a number of reasons.
I can see why he wants to leave but also, this is a bad time to ask to leave. He was great under Ange, then Frank never used him properly and apparently never even talked to him (or other players) making Bergvall feel isolated from the club. De Zerbi did not use him because he wanted experience for those last 8 matches. I think Bergvall could grow with Spurs and be useful but if we bring in Tonali and another (Fernandes or Wharton type) then Bergvall would be excess and not be able to develop properly.

Arsenal, Liverpool and United could easily fill 100k I think. City, Spurs and Chelsea would struggle I think. I’m sure there’s talk of Arsenal extending the Emirates too. Having a 100k stadium would definitely help any future World Cup bids!
