As others have mentioned, I don't think another team will challenge the Old firm for the League anytime soon
This is the key. When Aberdeen and Dundee United won their titles in the late70s/early 80s, Rangers were absolutely dire and Celtic sometimes decent, sometimes good.
Because its reputation in England was so high before VAR. Also I’m sure most Scottish fans don’t give a shit about it’s reputation in England.

The Southampton head coach Tonda Eckert and other figures at the club could face individual disciplinary action from the FA if charges of spying on promotion rivals Middlesbrough are upheld - The Times
You'd think so wouldn't you, but I genuinely don't know what the rule is anymore. There's just so much confusion around the handball law that it seems officials are just making it up as they go.
At least Chelsea will have a recognised name with a bit of pedigree coaching them next season. Them having such an aimless and messy season has hurt England.
Currently watching some Bundesliga 2 Elversberg two nil up and if they win will be promoted. It's a town of 13000 people and the stadium hold 10000. Trying to think of an English equivalent
Forest Green Rovers based in Nailsworth - population 5,688, ground capacity 5,141. In Scotland, Ross County play in Dingwall. Population 5,360, ground capacity 6,541.
I think Fleetwood Town were the smallest town club in the football league. More than double that population though. Feels harder to do in England because of population density.
There's an old Guardian article on the clubs with stadiums larger than the town's population. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2010/jan/13/stadiums-capacity-town-population-knowledge
Yeah, Fleetwood is basically a suburb of Blackpool and there’s lots of little villages and towns in and around that area all the way up to Lancaster and Preston so their population support isn’t really isolated to just Fleetwood. I grew up not far from Fleetwood, horrible bunch to play Sunday League football against!
West Ham really have one glimmer of hope - only Spurs could mess up a relegation fight from their current position.
Genuinely shameful showing from West Ham. Season on the line and they've barely even looked up for it.
It's a bit mind boggling how certain players feel attached to clubs they've only been at for a short time. Trippier was only at Newcastle for 4 years. Casemiro at united for 4 years. Its not like when players are at clubs for 8 or 9 years
