Wolves have been relegated. Unfortunately I think West Ham will join them. Harder fixtures than Spurs is what will do it.
We really could have done with three points tonight. But it was really close and Palace were obviously happy to not commit anything and grind out a home draw. I think we'll stay up if we can replicate this level of performance, Nunos system now seems to be working. we're a lot better now defensively than we were at Xmas (when I thought we were doomed).

NEW: EFL clubs reject VAR in Championship - including a challenge system - due to fan opposition. https://t.co/fL9uY2MoJo— Martyn Ziegler (@martynziegler) April 21, 2026 Wonder if the PL might vote the same way in the summer - quite a few PL clubs habe poor fan relations and could do with a PR win. Or alternatively vote to remove VAR and adopt the challenge system. FA clearly going to push the challenge system into the FA duo which they have control over through. Mark Bullingham is very convinced by it and won’t happy at the EFL saying no. FIFA must be getting a bit worried about how unpopular VAR is in England and across Europe. .
Even worse. The Rejection from the EFL was so strong they won’t ever vote again on bringing in any form of VAR. Some of the foreign mangers wanted it but not really anyone else.
Doesn’t seem likely anytime soon. Maybe if the challenge system was a huge success in the FA cup or something. But by its nature it has more stoppages than the current VAR often has. Only a few screen visits in the last two rounds of the PL. But a challenge system would have multiple ones a match.
I don't think I have despised a group of footballers more than the current Leicester squad. Apart from Jordan James and the youth player who Rowett binned for "experience" 4 minutes to go and needing a goal. Rowett brings on Hamza "drink driving" Choudhury and Jordan Ayew. I have fully accepted that Ayew will score a brace against us in the World Cup.
Pretty wild looking at that Leicester sqaud that's been relegated. From an England perspective you've got Skipp, Winks, Lacelles, Aaron Ramsey, Luke Thomas. Ex-internationals, a Premier League veteran and some once promising youngsters with many caps at youth level and appearances in the PL.
Skipp - Not good enough. Not even sure what he does well Winks - Mardy git who goes hiding Aaron Ramsey - Crock. Absolutely awful Luke Thomas - A turnstile. Gets beaten all ends up by a winger every week. Yet given a new contract until 2029. It's a first team full of squad players with bigger reputations than they deserve
Remember Brennan Johnson ripping Luke Thomas to shreds in that FA Cup game when we were in the Champ in our promotion season. Amazed he has survived so long there. Going to be interesting to see what happens re:funding of those new training facilities you moved closer to Nottingham. We always seemed to be as competitive as you guys recruiting from Northern Leicestershire. Also Louis Page Jeremy Monga Darren Motsi Do they stay? Overall thoughts on Ben Nelson ?
Reminds me of when we first got relegated and we had hangers on like etuhu and Danny Murphy who were picking up big wages but wouldn't put in the effort
As far as I know. The training ground is owned by King Power and not the club. It's location is the problem. The players tend to live around there or in Notts. They only come into Leicester on match days. I grew up about 3 miles from the new training ground. It's just as easy to get to Nottingham by car as Leicester from there. If I was any of the young players, I would get out as fast as possible. It's a toxic environment around the club. There's no senior pros who can set a standard. Louis Page actually went out and spoke with fans last night. I would keep them and play them. However said that all season and the managers just go with experience or drop them for half a bad game not to be seen again. Meanwhile we have to put up with watching the rest of them not before Nelson - I like him but the players he has been paired with don't give him a chance. Another one dropped for the experienced donkeys If you want some amusement. Go on transfermarket and look at some of the contract end dates
At least Leicester have had success under these owners, we've suffered nothing but misery under venkys for 16 years. An established epl club, ripped apart. We've been used as an agent vehicle (kentaro). We've sold our biggest youth team product, Adam Wharton for pennies. Suffered two relegations. Had no money invested. Tried to sell off our youth academy abd training centre. Had numerous good managers walk out because they were lied to. Had slimy lizards try to milk the club, Steve kean, rudy gestede etc. Had people higher up turn fans on fans. Been in good positions to get into the play offs only for the club to pull the rug from under the managers. Had protests which the club trued to paint us as enemies. Sold our top scorer Jordan Rhodes for peanuts. Let numerous players leave on a free. That's just the tip of the iceberg ask @horrisengleton
Leicester look in serious trouble The biggest concern for Leicester is that they have already cashed in on future instalments from Premier League parachute payments and player sale instalments by selling those sums to MacQuarie bank. Blackburn are one of only seven clubs to ever win the Premier League. And barring a single season in League One, haven't descended lower than the Championship in the last 40 odd years! Forgive me if l don't shed a tear for you mate, but let's spare a thought for the other 84+ teams who haven't got anywhere near that same pinnacle!
The owner and the over promoted PE teacher who runs the football side are enormously thick. They assume success all the time. We will have to sell the youngsters as it is pure profit whereas the overpaid donkeys we will either have to pay off or subsidise their wages elsewhere. I genuinely fear that we will go straight through League One as well. There is no one in charge who knows what they are doing
Most players live pretty near a club training ground. Cheslea used to make it a rule of being within a could have miles or something of Cobham. And most clubs having the training grounds out on the edge of the town or in the countryside. It’s unusual for what Declan Rice for example does and commutes across London from Surrey to Hertfordshire.
In Cardiff. I went to that game on a visit to the UK. Somehow managed to convince Blackburn to sell me a ticket.
That's just showing off. You want to be a fan of a team that went from the Premier League to the National League, and had a lowlife Morrocan owner who mismanaged us financially, pushed us towards administration, and let his unqualified brother pick the players ahead of the manager. See what suffering is really like.
