It’s the illegal streaming that’s the issue but I don’t make any apologies for it because with all the different platforms you have to pay for just to watch the games it’s just ridiculously expensive for the working class! As soon as the Premier League brings in their own TV stream where it can be more affordable for everyone and on one platform the better and they will still make even more money from it.
I'm not sure they'd be allowed to have a single broadcaster for all games. Sky had to give up some of the rights a few years back as they were considered to have a monopoly, and I believe there has to be multiple broadcasters involved domestically.
Unfortunately the clubs don’t seem to think this a problem at all and if you raise it elsewhere you are called racist
Technically that was an EU rule which I’m not sure applies anymore. (But they could well be an equivalent domestic one). In house streaming wouldn’t being in the same as it does now or the PL would have already done it
Yeah, likely been codified in UK law on the back of it. TV is marginally better for the next few years, as it's only Sky and TNT with games, and over 80% are on Sky.
Not sure on the rules but wouldn’t you be ok since you’re setting it up as in your own network? I would have thought it would work in the same way of Netflix. I mean all TV deals will have to have expired though I guess.
So the Premier League is facing impending chaos and international football is in its dying days. Might have to get into F1.
Explain. Unless I'm mistaken, the desire to see more English players represented in the Premier League has absolutely nothing to do with a person's race or skin colour.
You do realise that the 10% drop off comes off the back of two record years of viewing figures? This season had no title race and no relegation battle, would you expect the viewing figures to go up? They'd have dropped in a season like this in 1995 or 2005 too. The Premier League bubble is obviously going to burst at some stage, maybe sooner rather than later if some of the issues aren't fixed, but this specifically is not a sign of that.
It’s not but try saying that to a lot of people. Any call for mofe English players is responded to with allegations that you a racist /bigot who wants to destroy the PL.

It's the Englishness of the PL that makes it the spectacle it is! As we saw last season, the more you airbrush our players out and try and turn our league into La Liga 2, the less distinctive and appealing English football becomes. Carry on in that vein and the Premier League will destroy itself.
Have you thought that it might be because those keyboard warriors are actually in and from another country? Go and tell an Indian they're racist for wanting a decent representation of Indians in the IPL. See how they respond.
It’s a ridiculous argument that anyone that wants to have it to be honest. I mean with football you have an English National team who we all support and want to do well. It’s not the same thing as saying you don’t want foreigners working for the NHS for example since there’s no International side for the doctors etc. Surely with common sense people can tell the difference.
A good read on the Club World Cup https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...reveals-why-the-club-world-cup-is-really-here
I think it will take some time to do so. European fans don’t seem that interested and it’s perfectly possibly it be an all European semi for example.

The fourth highest fee of all time. What's amazing is how many of the biggest transfer fees were complete busts. For the top 20 transfers, Coutinho, Felix, Lukaku, Hazard & Antony would be considered major flops. Fernandez, Greizmann, Grealish, Dembele & Pogba would be varying degrees of poor value. Neymar > PSG Mbappe > PSG Coutinho > Barcelona Wirtz > Liverpool Joao Felix > Atletico Fernandez > Chelsea Griezmann > Barcelona Grealish > Man City Rice > Arsenal Caicedo > Chelsea Lukaku > Chelsea Dembele > Barcelona Pogba > Man Utd Bellingham > Real Madrid Hazard > Real Madrid Ronaldo > Juventus Kane > Bayern Bale > Real Madrid Antony > Man Utd Ronaldo > Real Madrid
