    some back-to-back tough games:

    Oct -- Chelsea-Arse
    Nov -- MC-NU-Ev
    Feb -- MC-NU
    Apr -- Spurs-Chel-Arse

tough CL games could add to those as well.

Stating the obvious here but our record v the top 6 really needs to be better than it was if we're to fight for this title.

I'm not setting a title bid as the target in Slot's first season. top 4, yes. a domestic cup, yes .... but not the title itself.

I think we should go the Man City route and claim a restraint of trade against the PL because they won’t let us enter the Bundesliga.

Yup at this point I'd say top four and a cup would be a very successful first season result for Slot and the squad.

being bored, I took a look at what MC's sched looks like.

Aug -- MU, then Chelsea first 2 games.
Sep -- Arse and NU back to back
Nov - Spurs and us back to back
Jan/Feb -- Chels, Arse, NU, us and Spurs (5 in a row)

Maybe there are consequences to suing the league?

F.ucking hell, though. Wolves, Southampton, Bournemouth and Fulham.

Ours is Chelsea, Arsenal, Brighton and Palace. We should be suing the league more often to get City’s May schedule.

Been quoted as the easiest opening 5 games in the league.

Looks like 1 really tough match in the first 2 calendar months. I'll take that to get the new manager bedded in.

Our first game, against Ipswich? 12.30 kick off. Breaking Slot in straight away, I see.

Liverpool fans will not have to wait for an hour before kick-off to learn the team news for fixtures in the 2024-25 season.

Traditionally, there has been a strict embargo in the Premier League for clubs to only release starting XIs 60 minutes ahead of matches. However, from August, it has been decided that England’s top flight will align itself with UEFA’s rules.

Line-ups and substitutes will now be made public 75 minutes before games get underway.

I’m wondering what I’m going to do with that whole extra 15 minutes? I guess I’ll turn my life around.

That's a lot of change, all at once. Hope the league and the supporters can handle it, time will tell.

Horrible fixture for our first game against a newly promoted club who will be fired up to be facing Lpool for their return to the prem. Guaranteed to play over their heads.
Plus Ipswich is not the easiest place to travel to in England for the supporters .

A Texas-sized drive, for sure. Gotta be well over 4 hours.

So, they have to get up and hour or two earlier if they want to go.... jeez, it's England - not Siberia!! ;)
    Better than Brighton, I suppose....

Maybe not though, as you'd get straight line trains to London and then brighton, as well as motorways- Ipswich - I dunno - I figure Derby - then zig to peterborough, then get on that trunk road south of there that goes to Ipswich??

    It is a slog
