But Spain completed 1000+ passes against Russia and Morocco and had 80% posession, that's surely means something! Notice how England and Spain always in top 3 and both only appeared in 1 WC final in their entire history.
While we're at it, I'd like to suggest conehead to keep the trophy for Argentina until late December 2026 when its finally completing the 4 years cycle. Off course only if we dont win it.
🚨🚨 BREAKING: Eder Militao will MISS the World Cup. It's OVER.His scar from his previous injury has reopened, and he will have to undergo surgery again. He will be back at the start of 2026/27 season. @miguelitocope 💔 pic.twitter.com/6Kn2DnudCv— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) April 25, 2026 Players are dropping left and right.
I’m quite sure Mbappe is milking his “injury.” H knows Madrid have no shot at winning anything, so he’s just saying he has some “muscle fatigue.” Olise, the English kid who barely speaks any French and represents France(By having a single French grandparent), will probably lead their line. I don’t think France can afford to lose either player. They’ve already lost their 9.
Her mother has French citizenship. By virtue of his lineage, the law therefore granted him French citizenship at birth. Like Trezeguet. And in reality, nobody gives a sh!t (and that's a good thing).
Xavi Simons could be another casualty for this tournament. It appears he might have done his ACL. He was stretchered off holding his knee. We may have dodged a bullet with Cuti.

It is rumored that the card situation/suspension at the Mundial will be as follows: “Cards reset after the group stage and again after the quarterfinals.” So, essentially, it means do not receive back-to-back yellow cards in consecutive matches. I’m looking at you, Cuti!
Players need to avoid getting carded in the round of 32 and 16 to avoid a situation to miss the Semi if they get carded in the QF. That's going to be tough.
Here we go, all the Italian Argentinains unhappy that black people can be French citizens, at this point if you are posting this s**t we know what you are, we see you, even funnier when Italian Argentinians are posting this from America.
“¿SABES QUÉ ME DIJO? CÁLLATE, BOBO, QUE ESTÁS AFUERA DEL MUNDIAL. Pero ni siquiera saben quién es este en Argentina”.Nicolò Barella quejándose de lo que le dijo el ARGENTINO Mariano Troilo en el cruce. 😅🇦🇷🇮🇹 pic.twitter.com/ZbWPTyFkoN— Sudanalytics (@sudanalytics_) May 5, 2026
Everyone except Enzo and Paz is currently injured or way off in form. As of now I honestly don't expect a good performance at all.
Yea, we started well in CA 21 & WC 22. A great draw againts Chile & amazing lost to Saudi. In altermate universe, Colombia & England win those tournaments.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-cup-ticket-prices-are-justified-in-us-market “You cannot go to watch in the US a college game, not even speaking about a top professional game of a certain level, for less than $300,” Infantino said. “And this is the World Cup.” On Wednesday morning tickets were available for the next home game for the New York Yankees, one of the most popular professional teams in the US, for as little as $11. ---------- What the hell is this bozo talking about? Clearly he's never been to the Rose Bowl, where you can get tickets for like 30-40 bucks to watch a game. Glad the reporter pointed that out with Yankee tickets.
By college game is he talking soccer? Because those are dirt cheap lol. Even if it's American Football, there's cheaper tickets than that unless we're talking a national championship playoff game.
Caicedo is now available for the 1st WC match.
🗣 Lionel Messi: "Ahead of us, there are other favorites, arriving in better form."France are very good, once more. Leo is correct. There are others who should be favorites ahead of us. But this does not mean we should not make a nice run to repeat. I also think he’s not the type to ever say, “Yeah, we are definitely favorites.” I think many of us feel that we are just out of rhythm right now. Can we be convincing? Sure, but too many times I have felt frustrated with this squad over the last couple of years, including the CA. I’m not a lifelong cynic like some others, but there need to be changes. Scaloni, in the past, thought with his head instead of his heart, but nowadays it feels like the opposite. But I’ll say this much; he does make changes, so there’s that. I think he won’t hesitate to drop players. And look, we looked awful vs. the Saudis, again awful vs. Mexico and Poland until the goal came, so maybe we should expect a bit more of the same. Again, I’m not going to say this is going to be disastrous, unlike others who are always doom and gloom or are Negative Nancys, but we do have a fairly favorable draw (if we win our group) that should put us into the quarters. In the R16, I do not expect Uruguay to beat Spain in the group stages, and I do not think Uruguay is a good enough team to beat us nor do I think Bielsa will want to play for penalties from the get-go, its not in his DNA. Yes, it will be a tough game but I am fine with it. Also, teams who come in hot don’t always stay hot. We all recall 2002, with ourselves and France getting bounced in the first round, while Brasil, who struggled throughout qualifying, managed to win it in one of the worst Mundials I can recall. Maybe 2010 was just as bad.
