If you dont count penalty shootout, Paraguay historically never win more than 1 game at the WC. They're really that bad in this competition. Oddly enough, they have beaten Brazil 7 times since 2000.

 

Paraguay are horrible.

At least the Paraguayos in the stands are wearing a similar jersey to the US....

 

Crazy how much better USA looks when they have their entire first choice team available instead of a bunch of ********ing randos because of injuries or other selection issues.

They need to stay on the front foot now because I have zero faith in them being able to sit back and defend.

 

We may end up facing the yanquis in the round of 16 if things go accordingly. That’ll be a good one.

But Turkey should give more of a fight to the US. Maybe even the Aussies.

Happy for Pochettino. Hopefully they can keep it going for a while and ride the crowd energy. I think Australia will be a lot more cautious against them next game, so we'll see what happens.
