Yeah, true, he does look younger but he's 29. But my point is, he's still young but not too young. Not like a kid with potential or an old man in decline. What you see is what you get. And it's not like they'll sign him for a long term deal, like if he was Roman. He won't be here at 35. I'd love to see what Ruiz can do, and at any rate it's not my money. If they don't give it to a player, they'll give it to the barras or they'll steal it themselves. The only bad thing is, it could create divisions in the team if he makes a lot more than most players and doesn't bring it, he'll have to prove himself. But it's a risk worth taking, if indeed he is as good as he seemed to be at the WC. I still am not sure about Monzon. I think he will help, and we really needed a LB, but I was really hoping they'd get Tagliafico from Banfield, a kid with great potential -and great huevos - who I think will eventually do well in Europe. Tagliafico and Peruzzi as fullbacks would have been awesome.
