    how many of the 13 goals could have possibly been attributed to zelalem? im guessing none.

    He had one giveaway at the edge of DB’s defensive 3rd that led to a quick counter and goal.

    With 13 goals conceded, it would seem likely that everyone on the field had a hand in a few of them. The GK wasn't good, but he wasn't that bad.

    It was really weird watching the highlights. I expected some incredibly shocking misplays, but almost all the shots were reasonably well placed. Felt like the keeper had weights in his shoes a bit, but DenB's D also backed off every Zwolle player who had the ball like this was an old-man's friendly. What a game.

    Yep. the Eereste (first) Divisie is the division below the Eredivisie. It now includes a few of the top clubs U's (Ajax, PSV, AZ, Utrecht - a bunch of the "yo-yo" clubs like Zwolle and Den Bosch, ADO Den Haag, NAC Breda, etc.

    Hammouti and Verbeek traded assists/goals (first was an OG.) Trying to remember which yanks Danny Verbeek played with. He's got to be 30++ at this point.

    (Edit: Rubin at Utrecht! was the one I was thinking of, may be others.)

    Not in the squad today:

    BD FC Den Bosch
    @BD_FCDenBosch

    Gideon Zelalem and Ibane Bowat appear unable to play at @mijnfcdenbosch. As a result, there are basic places for Evan Patoulidis and Teun van Grunsven in the away match against @HeraclesAlmelo

    This is a classic YA comment. It may well be the most YA thing we've ever posted on these boards. Well done!

    MOTM for Gedion....if he keeps this up, perhaps his career ambitions may be resurrected

    The dude has (had, got to admit I've not seen a lot of his since Gers) a really elegant touch. If he can/has (literally) bulk up other aspect of his game he could be useful in the right situation.

    I think that what hampers him is that he plays his best in a role that doesn't really exist anymore, and while there are spots on the field that can use his skill set, he has to add a lot of bite to his game to find a place in a top-ish league. If his career had kicked off 10 years before it did, I think he'd have found more success.
    Kind of a poor man's Ozil, which was a cool thing to be before even the original couldn't find a spot.

    Yeah - I'm going to try to catch a few matches and see if he's rounded out his game much. He looks a bit more sturdy, which was a bit of an issue for him. He has the skills to contribute, whether he can use them well enough remains to be seen, but success at Den Bosch could sneak him an Ered gig at least, although it needs to happen soon - he's not young any longer.
