Ok went home for the first time since this idea was posted (college student) and checked how many sparklers I had. Just got done counting them and I have 754. I realize thats not enough to have everyone on the stage to have one, but would it be enough for us to use them and make the stage light up as the players enter for the second half? If I remember what I read on another thread the bleachers on the stage are going to hold around 1500 people (could be completely wrong). That would be half the supporters on the stage holding sparklers. What do you guys think, would that be enough for the stage to look cool? Should I bring the sparklers with me? Any other ideas how we could use them? Also if anyone else could bring sparklers post on here so we can find out how many we could get total.
I'm sure there would be enough people that smoke willing to share their lighters. We could hand the sparklers out at the tailgate, they're packaged with eight together, give a person a pack and have him pass them out and light them when the time comes.
The sparklers could look really cool, why not ? My group have lighters, and you can also light someone's with an already lit sparkler.
I'm bringing them, if we can't figure out the in game idea or don't think it will work, I'm sure there will be someone who can come up with another idea.
