HEY look this guys gets it!!! i don't know everyone thinks i am anti-support. trust me, i am not. i've been doing this for a lot longer then alot of people on here. my point is, i have seen flares go wrong. i have personally been burned by (drunk) assholes who don't know how to use them. and it seems like a lot of supporters find them a bit sususpect and maybe there is something better out there.

instead of bitching about how i am trying to take your toy from you, Cade thought it out a bit, stretched his creativity a bit. not only does this sound like a safer idea, BUT i also think this is a BETTER IDEA.

if you could some how get a whole crap load of these and pass them out, a few hundred of these lit up would look way better than a few flares.

I think your problem will be getting security to recognize what you are doing.

I have a ton of metal sparklers left over from the Fourth are they the same thing as weeding sparklers? Is this something we could really get away with? I don't see security liking the idea to much.

easy. Distribute them at each bar before the game to those who will be in the supporter's section.

^^ whenever you distribute them mention that everyone will be doing it at a specific time. (ie; right at the start of the 2nd half)

a handful of security guards are going to escort thousands of supporters out?

and besides, I just looked at columbus crew security policies and it states..

and if you read the link I posted with the sparklers it says:

I've bought 25 +/- streamers! I can't wait. I just hope security will allow them in.

    Right on 614!

Anyone saying don't do it, I'm telling you that is the last thing to tell guys like me and my boys in EB down here in Houston.
God I wish I could be there for this one! South Texas Sam's Army guys would smoke out our home ground for Mexico no doubt!
I've got a ton of pyro shit to use (dark blue smoke is hard to get and I have plenty)
but no way to get up there with the new addition to my franchise of kiddos.

Let it all hang out when gearing up for Mexico.

    DALE USA!!!!!!

I go to Crew games quite often, and they've always allowed flag poles in. I'm pretty sure they just check it out at the gate to make sure nothing is fishy about it, and then let you in.

I'm sure others could clarify that if need be.

Us citizens of this great land used to be able to send items like that over state lines cuz our Fedz didn't care but when I got some heavy duty orange ones for Houston years ago (the ones y'all see on TV at the Cup Finals) I had to go thru some loop holes just to get them shipped to my doorstep from the manufactuer.
It was a real eye opener on the whole post 9.11 Patriot Act set up. Half of me understands but the other half is thinking who's that Ireland defender...Crock O'Shit?!?

With the cold weather and our people wearing thick coats with a U.S. jersey layered on top, it will be easy to get items in and to use.

For those of you not in the C-Bus area....

We have the following: 2-3 inches of snow capped off with about 1/2" of ice. On top of that we have an additional 5-7 powder on top. With the forecast calling for temps at or below freezing for at least the next week, things are getting interesting for this match.

Does anyone know if the field is under the bubble now or not? It's going to take a while to get rid of what we have down right now.
