Who: Seattle Sounders (LWwLW) vs. Chivas USA (Who cares?)
Where: The Home Depot Center, Carson, CA
    When: 7:30 PM, Saturday, 10/22/2011
    Watch: KONG 6/16
    Listen: KIRO 97.3, La Gran D 99.3
    Internet: Usual suspects

Hopefully the Sounders put as much interest into this game as I'm put into creating this thread, not much at all. Last game of the season, nothing on the line for either team. Enjoy!

What to do.. You don't want to rest the starters too much or they get out of synch and then you're in trouble, so I'm going with a full line-up and hoping Sigi pulls Rosales, Flaco, and Montero out by the 60th minute.

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Fucito, Montero, Fernandez, Friberg, Alonso, Rosales, Wahl, Parke, Hurtado, Riley, Keller[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

The good news is that supposedly yellow card accumulation suspensions do not transfer over into the playoffs, just reds, so hack 'em down like flies Hurtado and Alonso. ;)

That's quite the fishing trip there.. Montero would need to put 4 in the net to tie DeRo and 5 to pull ahead. ;)

Although, Mauro "only" needs two assists to tie Beckham for assist leader and three to pull ahead.

I would just love to see that turd DeRo come away with nothing this season. I say we just play extremely open and feed Montero EVERYTHING.

I'm trying to think back and I believe this is the first MLS game we've ever played that has had no ramifications whatsoever in terms of standings, pursuit of a shield, home pitch, etc. Our first truly meaningless MLS game in history. That's gotta count for something.

To teams like SJ and DC whose meaningless seasons boiled down to individual player stats, these games mean a lot. Yay... go DeRo and Wondo... having a useless team that feeds you balls constantly because they don't know how to do anything else must be fun!

Also... Portland eliminated from playoffs! Maybe this will stop some of their stupid comparisons to us.

Full boat lineup except for Wahl.
[LINEUP-4-4-2]Fucito, Montero, Fernandez, Evans, Alonso, Rosales, Gonzalez, Parke, Hurtado, Riley, Keller[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

It looks like Evans may have taken the starting spot back from Friberg.

I'm of the opinion that Leo instead of Wahl is the full boat line-up. I'm happy to see that.

This brings up the question. Why the hell is Mauro starting?

By the look of Mauro's face, it looks like much more than just a tweak. This blows.

Now the Sounders need to figure out how to get things going without Rosales.

I can't even watch anymore. This game now means less than nothing. They can all just stand at midfield for all I care

I can't watch the game, what happened to Rosales? Did someone hit him or did he just go down?

Chivas can play as dirty as they want tonight, as no cards they get have any hold-over effect at all.
