anyone know if it will be "match-trackered?" the main site says it will be webcast f/ thecrew.com, but i don't have speakers in my office computer...doh! cheers, battch GO QUAKES!!!
[edit] Quakes formation: Conway Robinson Agoos Dayak Waibel Corrales Mulrooney Roner Lagos Mulan Ching Donovan is not suited up.
All Columbus. Scramble in front of Quake goal leads to Columbus goal, maybe by Buddle. They steal the kickoff. I think only 2 quakes have touched the ball so far.
Corrales to Lagos header just wide - this was the only chance for the Quakes so far. Columbus has 90% of possession. Walsh was the Crew goalscorer. A cross deflected of Quake players to him.
> Donovan just stalked someone. He is not a stalker. He just loves the smell of his woman. It can be very intoxicating. At least, that is what I have read. Mulan and Ching can't do anything against the Crew. Things getting a little physical. A couple of good free-kick chances for the Quakes go to nothing. Another free kick Agoos - close but headed away.
Waibel schools Brian West. It is really cool to see all those little anime girls whipe out their swords. Lagos is the only one doing anything, but he keeps giving up the ball. 30 minutes gone. 1-0 Crew. Agoos another free kick - easily saved by Prestus. Clark gets yellow for beating on Mulan.
Robinson with a decent strike, Prestus watches it go out. Quakes with possession, but lots of bad passing.
Thanks Spejic, I can't get the audio to play on my system. Keeps telling me that it's encountering "Corrupt Information." Which is what I expect for Cowlumbus, especially after that Warshitza handball of God incident. GO QUAKES!! - Mark
woohoo! I can listen to Windows Media on Linux! If you're halfway interested, go to http://www.freshrpms.net
Conway picks up a Crew through ball with too much spice on it. Mulan with left footed half-volley, miss. Crew playing long-ball. Quakes deal without too much trouble. Half time.
Half-time talk: Expansion cities down to 4. HDTV broadcasts of some MLS games this year. Game has restarted. Roner (credited with assist on Lagos goal) has good shot saved by Busch.
Lack of killer instinct messes up a Quake chance - Roner at top of box passes back to Dayak to Lagos at half line. Jamil Walker in for Roner, who was very quiet in the first half. Walker at center mid. Crew made big changes at half time, including Lucci in at right mid.
Dunivant in for Dayak. Scott Bower! in for Ching. Goodrich(who?) also in. Bower playing right mid. Also in is Wegerle, nephew of former national-team player. He is forward. San Jose goal - Wegerle from Mulrooney goal. 2-1
Wegerle's goal was like 5 seconds after he came in. Mulrooney sent a pass into the box and Wegerle made a quick low shot. Nice impact.
