With the news last night about the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsberg (and Mitch McConnell's immediate reaction), this is probably my most depressing game thread. I am sorry about that. Orlando are in 4th in the east. The Fire are in 12th in the east. Orlando have scored 19 goals to the Fire's 11. Orlando have given up 13 goals to the Fire's 18. The Fire have never lost in Orlando. Everybody is (or should be) more concerned about the ongoing pandemic (as the US approaches 7,000,000 infected and 200,000 dead), the future of the US Supreme Court, and the future of this nation than a basically meaningless MLS game. We all know the Fire are probably going nowhere this season (for the 12th straight year), but a good Fire performance might make us forget the problems of the world for a little while. That being said, I predict a Fire loss [remember, I am always wrong in my predictions).
Yeah I'm going to miss this one gigging up at Virtue Cider in SW Michigan so I will be across the lake today when this one happens. Remember that one time Obama had a chance to appoint a temporary SCOTUS when Senate was in recess but didn't? Sigh... Only one side playing by the rules can't win in a street fight. We're screwed.
