Last home game of the season. Crazy. Not as crazy as RSL being in 2nd place in the West with 3 games to go and have not clinched a playoff spot with a -2 GD and they just beat LAFC. Throw in players coming and going whenever they like for whatever reason they like and to say this is kind of crazy is being kind. SKC will probably be the toughest of the 3 games left even with the LAG and COL games on the road. I was definitely not expecting the LAFC win which makes me much more bullish on them but that could all go away on Saturday. I was not expecting RSL to finish with more than 49 points but with the LAFC win I would be disappointed they don't get more than 50 points this season. Crazy. 3-1 RSL
I'll be taking the kids to this game. Might have to bring the Nintendo Switch to keep the 5 year old entertained so I can stay for the whole game. Saturday is supposed to be sunny and decent, but with a 7:30 start time we'll be in the low 60's - high 50's. I love fall games. 2-1 RSL
They have given us no reason to trust them at home. I'm in the same boat as you. Either way I successfully defended my PhD dissertation yesterday so even a loss won't bring me down.
I’m usually very conservative on predictions but SKC’s D is shambolic. This is a good matchup for us. We’ll blow them out. F ‘em up boys. I’ll be at the *other* Real game - Real Madrid Vs Osasuna today anyway, so I’ll focus on learning to be a non shit fan. The Dutch Feyenoord fans showed me a few things when they invaded the city for champions league this week.
My wife was held hostage for 6 of 8 years doing her doctoral program. We still can’t talk about it, because I get too angry. One of her colleagues with the same advisor just walked. Took him nearly 16, but he already had the job he wanted. The PhD was a feather in his cap. I don’t think the university is letting that faculty member advise any more candidates.
I didn't see anything to dislike. Their fans took over the plaza major and sang like champs, it echoed through the whole city, I found it to be brilliant. We were right behind the goal watching Jude Bellingham stutter and score. That experience is something else. It's like opera meets sports.
That sounds horrific and sadly crap like that does happen. I was fortunate to have a great advisor. It still took 7 years, but it was other circumstances that worked against me.
So, same lineup as we saw at LAFC? 3-1 RSL actually seems appropriate. Need a really good showing for the regular season home finale.
If we win, we'd end with more wins than losses at home. Which probably means we tie and go 6-6-5 at home
Aye! MacMath Brody Glad Vera Oviedo Ojeda Palacio Gomez Savarino Luna Chicho Bench: Beavers; SIlva, Hidalgo, Lambert; Eneli, Chang, Rubin (I think he fits on the wing now); Julio, Kreilach No Musovski again
Moose is on the bench Edit: According to twitter the bench is Beavers, Silva, Hidalgo, Eneli, Chang, Kreilach, Julio, Rubin, Moose
And then Apple TV says Lambert and not Moose. That's what I get for thinking our own twitter account would be accurate
I got my list from the Match Tracker on the league website. But the team getting it wrong suggests a late scratch instead of shenanigans.
Is it common to fly out more than the team + bench? I'm honestly curious since I can see teams not doing it as a cost saving measure.
