It’s really irritating that it takes getting into these positions to see these players and staff finally display some frustration, anger, and desperation. Otherwise it’s just this gaslighting “even keel” while we watch one of the worst teams in club history

17 points for VAN, they have a game in have, too.

Maybe RSL should hire their coach. The team is for sale, make him an offer he can't refuse. There's no cap on what you can pay coaches and trainers and such. Get your advantages there if you're not going to pay transfer fees and higher player salaries.

 

I am not discounting that first goal. That's a condemnation. The 2nd goal was luck. They still were far more dangerous than we were and deserved the win. But that PK really did change the game considerably. We still likely would at least not have won.

 

I'd also like to point out that Cabral saved at least 3 great chances that he was amazing to get.

The hard thing is that the pk is an accurate application of the letter of the law. I don’t blame this ref. I blame IFAB and worrying about dumb shit like new ways to do offside instead of the one law that irks folks more than any other

 

It’s insane to think what the clubs GD would look like without him

I caught that too. They both sounded sincere. It was baffling. Eneli also said our two tallest guys were pre-assigned to mark Vancouver’s 2 tallest players. It might have come down to RSL simply not having enough physicality/height to adequately defend Vancouver on corners.

 

If it’s truly based on height vs aerial ability this club has some of the dumbest coaches
