The best team in the west comes to the Riot to work over RSL? RSL has scored 13 goals in 14 games. So the flood gates are ready to open? This should be very, very, interesting to say the least. I bet no one wants anything to do with the RB position. Who wants to get smoked like Justen? Not me. Cabral Caliskan, Glad, Junqua, Katranis Ojeda, Eneli Gozo, Luna, Diogo Agada Is tha
Why should Diogo go back in the starting lineup? Is Vera ready to come back? I had thought it was said he played with the monarchs I am out of town for this one and trying to figure out if this is worth watching or not
Wasn't Goncavles injured? Has he recovered? Vera got minutes with the Monarchs, but do you really throw him back in against VAN? VAN has some schedule congestion, having played last night and have the CONCACAF Final next weekend, too. This is the first of another 3 games in 8 days for RSL. I'm not sure if Caliskan is good enough to go against Nelson, so I understand if Hidalgo gets the start, but if there's not enough bodies again, I get having Hidalgo on the bench for flexibility. I want to see more minutes from Ruiz and Marczuk (something is going on with him, but not much is being said, injury/family/mental, I'm not sure) and maybe others. RSL is at 1ppg, nobody but Luna and Cabral should have their position in pen at this point. I'll be surprised if this isn't 3-1 for VAN.
I forgot about Nelson Yes, this is going to be the game the fanbase turns on Caliskan and his experiment at RB. He’s cerebral, sure, but raw athleticism - when used right - is a cheat code I’d drop Diogo to the subs bench. I’d be curious to know what Gozo could do at the LW in this system. His energy and speed could add a layer there we haven’t seen much of. I think Marckzuk created enough in his limited time at cRapids to try again out right. When he is on and hits those crosses with pace he’s unmatched
New guess for starting lineup Rafa Caliskan, Glad, Vera, Katranis Eneli, Ruiz Marczuk, Gozo, Luna Agada
Injury report: OUT: Matthew Bell (hamstring) OUT: Javain Brown (knee) OUT: Zac MacMath (shoulder) QUESTIONABLE: Diogo Gonçalves (heel) QUESTIONABLE: Kobi Henry (hamstring)
I imagine that Gonçalves will have that "questionable" heel injury for the next month until we hear about some interesting news..... No insider info. Just a hunch. That's so f********ing crazy, it just might work!
I am very interested to see Hezarkhani on the bench. He has absolutely looked too good for the Monarchs, so he needs to be in some gameday rosters or out on loan. No Berea?
Gozo as AM, at least according to the graphic, should certainly be different. Also, Pablo dropping the backline after giving up one goal in 180 minutes, that was largely the fault of Ojeda, contradicts his “displace the starting lineup” talk glad and Vera give up goals I don’t get why, but they nearly always do
This whole season has been stupid! And we can only hope the ownership/management of this club see’s the same thing. But in the mean time here we all sit supporting the club we love.
I was born into a Manchester United family. Fell in love with Milan at a young age. And support RSL. Soccer is arguably very stupid this year
