Is there a chance that CSN or Nonstop picks up this game? Well both Klopas and Anibaba are suspended for this. Who replaces Anibaba Jumper or Berry? I haven't heard any news about Rolfe, I hope that he's atleast ready to come on as a sub. So if Rolfe is ready then I'd like to see this. [LINEUP-4-4-2]Oduro,Rolfe,Pappa,Grazzini,Pardo,Nyarko,Segares,Friedrich,Berry/Jumper,Gargan,Tornaghi[/LINEUP-4-4-2] If he's not. [LINEUP-4-4-2]Oduro,Puppo,Pappa,Grazzini,Pardo,Nyarko,Segares,Friedrich,Berry/Jumper,Gargan,Tornaghi[/LINEUP-4-4-2] Goats haven't won a game at home all year 0-3, let's not be the first team to lose to them. FIRE 1-0.......
No. But if you're like me and prefer English commentary, that will likely be available on ESPN3. I think I heard Berry would start for Anibaba.
The game is listed on the ESPN3 schedule, so that's a lock. The question is whether it will be in English or Spanish, but ESPN3 usually notes if a broadcast is in Spanish.
8 million per year reasons. I do believe this is the only game that is on ESPND only for 2012, every other game will be ESPN/ESPND or ESPN2/ESPND.
It will be Berry in Anibaba's place. Jumper is more of an emergency CB. People thought Berry was MLS ready last year. Jumper played defensive wing in college. If Jumper becomes preferred over Berry, there's a lot of Jumper improving and a lot of Berry declining. Rolfe is going to be out again. On a game getting moved or to CSN or Nonstop, that's a Comcast thing. If a game is ESPN, Galavision, whatever, it's not moving to CSN or Nonstop. Both CSN and Nonstop are in the same company now. It's also my understanding that when the Houston game moved from Nonstop to CSN, it was probably a one-time move. I wouldn't expect that games get moved from Nonstop to CSN very often. It might not happen again all season. On a uniform note, it looks like we'll be navy jersey, red shorts. All navy and all red would have been too close to Chivas' color scheme apparently.
Agreed. Unless you've got whatever package offers ESPND, you can only watch this online. Our league and our team are run by retards.
What the ******** espn deportes? oh well going to a concert that starts at 8 anyway. was hoping to catch the second half if possible but i guess not. edit it is on espn 3 which i guess is cool. can watch it with crappy streaming on my xbox with almost no wifi signal yay
Austin Berry looked good in preseason, so I don't foresee big problems there. Just the chance of a lack of communication and lack of experience playing together for the central defenders. We need a 3rd jersey. Blue/red/red is just going to look weird.
You can buy the package that has ESPND for $6.95 a month through comcast...and if you cancel...say...tomorrow...you will be charged the prorated amount...
I'd like to see Johnson go to the bench for at least a few games like last year after his series of mistakes, but I don't think it will happen (yet). This is a game we should win (Philly managed to hold onto a 1 goal lead there a few weeks ago after 2 second half red cards), but Chivas is an unpredictable team. They are 0-4 at home and 3-1 on the road (including wins at RSL and Portland). Yeah, I wouldn't expect them to have English commentators just for espn3.
Be careful. I did the same thing for the Sounders game only to be treated to craptacular officiatiating and a Fire loss. This has all the markings of a crappy game, but I hope the Fake Goats woes at home continue. Go Fire!!!
