Finally, a match against someone other than San Francisco or Puerto Rico. This will be a tough one, though. Jacksonville currently tops the table, Indy has traditionally struggled in Florida, and Don Smart and Ben Speas will be out again. Without Smart and Speas, Indy struggled last week to move the ball effectively through the midfield and instead resorted to the hoof-and-hope style that characterized so much of their play in their first two seasons,. Hopefully, Hankinson has spent the week working to get the currently configured midfield more comfortable with working together.
Another game, another draw. Still being undefeated is good, but averaging one point per game won't get you anywhere--indeed, in the Premier League it would put you in a relegation fight. Zayed put a nice ball through for Braun's goal (though I still haven't figured out how that wasn't outside), but he seems to have lost his scoring touch. And Busch had a few rough moments for which he was lucky not to be made to pay (there was nothing he could do on Jacksonville's goal, though).Without Smart (whom we know can contribute significantly) and Speas (whom we suspect can contribute, based on his past with Minnesota), this team is looking mediocre at best.
