If this is right, we're all getting worried over .6%. http://www.sportsclubstats.com/USA/MLS.html And even if we lose we're worried over 2.4% chance of not making the playoffs.
krolpolski, you do know that he's making fun of the opposing team's players (and as such, "facts" are right out the window)?
i can't wait for this game even if it just gives me an excuse to buy some bacon buns from grand dukes deli
Remember the Confederations Cup and how the US advanced? Yeah, I am worried. Improbable but possible worries me.
so should i book my flight to seattle? i have a relative who will let me crash on her couch in seattle and they still have tickets available for mls cup
If you do, you won't be watching the FIRE in that game, because the way were playing will be lucky to make past the first round (That's if we even make the playoffs).
REFEREE: Terry Vaughn. SAR (bench): Peter Balciunas; JAR (opposite): Joe Fletcher; 4th: Paul Ward MLS Career: 121 games; FC/gm: 28.9; Y/gm: 3.9; R: 42; pens: 38 Terry Vaughn is a FIFA referee who hails from Iowa. Chicago fans will remember him as that hilariously awesome guy who whistled for a very questionable penalty kick late in second half stoppage time to give the Fire the full three points in LA. Chivas fans wills remember him as that asshole who whistled for a very questionable penalty kick late in second half stoppage time to give the Fire the full three points in LA. That match, back in May, featured eleven cautions, including two to Jesse Marsch. Why anyone felt it was a good idea to give Vaughn the return fixture is anyone's guess, but I'm going to go ahead and blame Jair Marrufo for getting demoted. This will be Vaughn's 19th match of the season, 3rd involving the Fire, and 5th involving Chivas USA. In 2009 he is averaging 4.67 yellows per match and has shown 8 red cards. 2009 Terry Vaughn Match Summary: 3/21/2009: CD Chivas USA 2 - 1 Colorado Rapids YELLOW: A. Harris, P. Nagamura, C. Clark, J. We're doomed and it's going to get U.G.L.Y. Because, unfortunately, I can see all the other scenarios happening if we lose - so our fate is in the 2 hands and 22 feet on the Fire pitch tomorrow night.
If Conde is in the starting lineup, I'll be pretty confident of a win, but take that with a grain of salt (I'm always confident of a win ahead of home games for whatever reason). If Segares is back in the starting lineup as well, I'll be all but assured that we'll clinch 2nd place tomorrow, though I doubt we'll see him as anything other than a late game sub. Whoever it was that said we should sit Blanco must be joking. We can't sit on a 0-0 lead at home and give Terry Vaughn the opportunity to balance the scales with a questionable late game pk to win it for Chivas. I still think that call early in the season was justified, but there was never a camera angle that gave conclusive evidence one way or the other. Regardless, I can't imagine that either Vaughn or Chivas has forgotten that incident. We need Blanco on the field because we need to create attacking chances. With him on the field, it lessens the pressure on both Pappa and Rolfe to create chances, which they are both fully capable of doing when they aren't the main focus of the opposition's defensive gameplan. I want to talk about potential playoff matchups, but we should probably leave that for after we've actually qualified for the playoffs.
anyone know closest bus stop that goes to toyota park from melvina avenue in burbank? not very familiar with area but have an aunt who might be able to give me ride but not sure if shes busy tonight. if not i want to park in front of her house and take bus to stadium to avoid parking fees
So we know that they will be playing for 3pts. So will Colorado and all 4 of those teams sitting on 39 points. DON'T PLAY FOR 1 FREAKIN POINT, FIRE!!!
We must be living in an alternate reality. Tonight you will have LA, Columbus, and Houston fans pulling for your team. Someone check to see if Garber has done away with the salary cap in this new alternate reality.
It's the cluster******** in the West (Chivas, LAG, Houston) at 45 with Seattle at 44 plus the SS scenarios suddenly in play because Cbus decided to suck in October.
