Djordje's attitude is horrendous. He threw a tantrum after last week's win because he didn't start

Well considering he went from being Pauno's favorite player and starting just about every game in the first 16 games, to not playing or being subbed in for only 15-20 minutes. I too would be pissed off.

This was said of Mihailovic in his rookie year.
When he sees players worse than him starting over him, especially with Katai being out, he probably has a reason to be upset.

Djordje has always been overly cocky. I’m definitely not a fan of his

Regardless of your opinion of him, he should be starting.

If we want a chance to win, game in and game out, we should probably, I don't know, play our best 11 players.

Is Azira or Broinco better than him?
At this point we need ALL our best players available, especially with Katai out do to suspension.
I'd take a cocky player like Milhailovic over Azira or Bronico.

    Some stats:

    Possession
    60% NE 40% Fire

    Passes completed
    551 NE 361 Fire

    Shots
11 NE 10 Fire (surprising the Fire had that many shots without Katai)

You know who might of helped out those numbers? Milhailovic

I just saw that Pauno only used TWO subs, then I looked at who we had on the bench and see why he only used 2 of the 3 subs.

    Who's fault is this that?

    Well, our new resident "expert"
is "definitely not a fan of his," so of course Milhailovic was left on the bench.

I think it was a horseshit sub to put in Mihailovic for Nikolic unless Niko was injured or gassed (which i doubt). The moment he made that sub he bunkered but he bunkered with an offensive player coming in not a defensive player and though perhaps Djorde should have started he is Not a defensive player yet. Also..why bunker with this few games left and needing wins not ties?!?! I was more thinking Mihailovic for Frankowski (more likely gassed) or Azira (to go for win). This loss was, once again, entirely on Pauno. If he is not fired after the season if the Fire do not make the playoffs (and he should be anyway) then it is obvious the Fire Brass don't give a shit (at all).

Needing points. You would think that our dumbass coach would put out OUR best players, but yet Milhailovic isn't in the starting 11.

Current eastern conference standing: We aren't going to catch Atlanta (48pts), Philadelphia (48pts), NYCFC (47pts), NYRB (41pts) and probably DC United (39pts).

I'm going to include DC in this because they are only 6 points ahead of, not playing very well and played the same amount of games (29).

#5 DC............39 points (29 games) 10 wins (first tie breaker)
    #6 NE............38 points (27 games) 10 wins (" ")
    #7 Toronto.....37 points (27 games) 10 wins (" ")
    #8 Montreal...34 points (28 games) 10 wins (" ")
    #9 Orlando....34 points (28 games) 9 wins (" ")
    #10 FIRE.......33 points (29 games) 8 wins (" ")

DC 6 points ahead of us with the same amount games, I'm going with 6 points in their remaining gamed (45 pts)
New England's game in hand is against @ NYCFC and @ Portland (0 pts out of those games, our advantage) I'm going with 8 pts total in their remaining games (46 points).
Toronto's games in hand is against @ Cincinnati and @ NYCFC (3 pts out of those games, advantage Toronto 40 pts) I'm going with 9 pts total in their remaining games (46 points)
Montreal's game in hand is against is vs. Vancouver (3 pts in that game, advantage Montreal) I'm going with 9 pts total in their remaining games (43 pts)
Orlando's game in hand is vs. LAFC (0 pts in that game) I'm going with 7 pts total in their remaining games (41 pts)

    That leaves us:

@ Columbus.....We probably should win this game, but it being on the road. I think the best we will do is get a tie (1 point)
vs. FC Dallas....They are a very good home team, but a below average away team, so I'm going with a win (3 points)
@ Cincinnati.....Just like Columbus, but it's in Cincinnati and on turf, we only get a tie (1 point)
vs. Toronto........I don't know why, maybe something stupid will happen, but we win this game (3 points)
@ Orlando........We only come out with a tie (1 point)

We finish with 9 points and finish with 42 points and finish 9th in the east, possibly finish with 12 points (if we beat Orlando), but still that wouldn't be enough to get over the line (44 pts). Finish 8th, but probably enough for NRod to NOT fire Pauno.

I think the only way he's fired after the season is if we go say 0-1-5 (1 point) or 1-1-3 (4 points) (WTL). Because if we just miss or say we qualify 7th, NRod will say look how close/we made the playoffs for giving him yet another.

It will be year two of a another three year plan (2019-2021).

it's remarkable how many players have had "bad attitudes" since Pawno started "coaching" this team.

I came here to post this. Pauno loses us another one. The fire looked like the aggressor with better chances until this dumb sub. Ties are meaningless at this point. As soon as Paujo subs out Nikolic, other teams realize we're going full bunker and go all offense. It has happened so many times this year. It's like a tell in poker.

What kind of message does it send when your player keeps talking about how he can’t wait to leave and is mailing it in during practice and even games yet still gets starts? Pauno is a ********ing idiot, but he got this one right.

It's more than a tell in poker, it is, at best, a "call" and almost a "fold" (the difference, I guess, is that you don't lose more after folding in poking, but when Paunovic does this, we often lost more, like last night).
