Three excellent goals in 18 minutes.

The Fire have been absolutely dominating so far, but it is still early in the game.

Collins John has been very lively. Easily the best he has looked this season, and what we expected from him.

The Galaxy have missed 3 solid chances. Bowen, Kirovski/Buddle and Donovan have all bailed out the Fire defense.

Example in the 38th-39th minute: "LA Galaxy, 8 wins against the Chicago Fire, and 4 draws..." not a mention about how many times Chicago has beat LA.

epic fail by the Galaxy. letting Banner score should be grounds for expulsion from the leg.

yeah the color guys just always seems very out of control

I think at one point he said "The glaxy with 8 goals of corners tonight with 4 corners"

not that bad when you look at it, but when spoken with no puses it takes a second to understand what he means

The first 30 minutes were amazing, but we have taken our foot off the pedal. Someone should tell our guys to shoot for 5 or 6 goals, I am not even kidding when I say it is possible.

Johnson has looked great. Only bad thing was the penalty. He leaned and gave away where he was going to go well before the kick. Made it too easy for LD. But his command of the box seems very well and our defense seems to be so much more relaxed with him in there.

We have missed Nyarko tremendously. So glad he's back!

LA are too good not to put up a fight, but the Fire must clamp down and win the game.

I bit of a weak penalty, but it was a penalty.

    (to the tune of 7-nation-army)

Let's keep the shutout from the run of play.
btw that looked a super soft penalty.

It was a perfect example of a penalty when losing but not when tied or winning. Lame but passable.

I hope it's not bunker time, if we bunker in the second half we will lose this game.

No changes at half time for the Fire.

Let's see Freddie around the 55th minute for Baggio. Is this Baggio's final start this season?

    Good save by Johnson.

Johnson looks very confident out there. He has not been tested too much, but a couple of good saves so far.

Yeah, but he used to be our hack.

Of course, since Freddie is coming in, does Dema try to break his leg in Freddie's first game for the Fire?

    Freddie coming in for Pappa?

Some possession this half might be helpful.
