Friedrich should be back from his injury, Rolfe should be ready to start and Pappa will be back from international duty. Do they all start on Sunday against NY Redballs?

I hope so and I hope that Tornaghi gets the start over Johnson also.

FK put out an offensive lineup and we might have a chance of winning this game, our record when scoring more than one goal is 4-0-0 (1-3-5 one or fewer). So stop playing 4-5-1 or a 4-4-2 with 2 CDM attack this team, they have a rookie in goal. He's done pretty good, but he's still a rookie. New York has the number one offense, but there 13th in goal against, attack them put them under some presuure and we might call away with a win. If it's 3-2 0r 4-3 win so be it, I know it's hard to believe that we could score 3 or 4 goals in a game.

Even if we were the best team in the league, NYRB is 2nd in the East. That's kind of ridiculous.

My heart wants us to win this game 100-0.

My buzzkill brain says that if we play on Sunday like we've played for the past four games, we'll get the crap kicked out of us.

Why not? We got three points against KC. They can beat the DeadBulls. Soccer is a funny old game.

If we find a way to play well, we can beat NY too. But if we play like we've been playing... *shiver*

New York could be missing, Marquez, Henry and Lindpere, but they still will have FIRE killer Cooper.

Why is there always that one player that can kill us?

Wait, please don't answer that. ;)

Do we have confirmation on Rolfe? Arne was hesitant in an interview.

Rolfe, Friedrich and Oduro all participated in full training Tuesday, so I would think they're set for Sunday.

Sounds like this game is very close to selling out. I'm hopeful it will sell out. Is Henry out for sure?

Not for sure, its almost nearly impossible to tell with Backe. Earlier in the season he says Tainio would be out 4-6 weeks, then 2 weeks later we hear that his injury may be career ending...

It definitely helps that you guys have a grass field, if it were turf there's not a chance in hell Henry would play.

    Ev-ery-body! Ev-ery-body! Ev-ery-body!

There is something special planned on Sunday. We need about 20 people to commit to being in the stadium well ahead of player intros to lend a hand with what will be an epic display. This is a call for volunteers beyond the normal Section 8 Match Crew. Easy work, pretty much supervising the execution of the display.

    Make No Little Plans.

Check in at the Section 8 Chicago Tailgate in the north lot for more info and instructions.

What's so bad about Toledo? The last time he reffed us, a couple early foul calls and the "hack-a-Grazzini" strategy had to be abandoned. I like him.

He wants to be the center of attention and he loves giving out a bunch of cards. Just looks at some of his games and you'll see what I mean.

He's a jag off. Then again aren't they all?
BUT...if Grazzini keeps it sly there shouldn't be a problem....

I'd rather have a jag-off than an incompetent jag-off. Brian Hall was an incompetent jag-off. Michael Kennedy still is an incompetent jag-off. Toledo is just a jag-off which is the best we can really hope for from USSF.
