Okay, enough about Naperville. We actually play a GOOD team this weekend. Note to the Fire defense...Preki is going to his left.

For anyone who is interested, I'm trying to organize an unofficial watch party at Goose Island Wrigleyville (3535 North Clark), mostly because -- and you knew this was coming -- Nitrous Foxide is playing there later in the evening.

Lots of BIG TVs, good beer, and the carnage of the Cubs-Sox game should be over by then.

I like the way you think...

I seem to remember Carey Talley looking good for KC in the past...with him, Burciaga and maybe Diego unavailable, will their backline be more vulnerable than usual? Losing Klein will hurt their offense some, but Preki, Wolff and Simutenkov are still very dangerous.

Wolff is dangerous...to his own health.

Apparently no one ever taught him how to walk without injuring himself.

I hope Bo Oshoniyi gets some playing time. Good things happen when Bo is in goal.

    Bo knows soccer!

    WE WANT DIPSY!!

I'm guessing the chances of him playing are slim to none.

Precki schools Pause and lays it off for an easy Simutenkov goal.

Man, this doesn't look good. Can somebody do something about Preki, please? Can you say man-marking? And you know it's bad when you haven't even heard of two of their goalscorers. I guess we really don't know how to play defense...the boys of '98 are rolling over in their graves...well, figuratively, since they aren't actually dead or anything...

A memo to the Fire, you can get away with a shoddy backfield against bad teams (ie Dallas), but not against a good team. Ahh!

Wow, I never thought I would see KC referred to as a "good team." If I were dead, I'd be turning over in my grave.

Dipsy didn't even travel to KC. Apparently he is with the Botswanian National team according to Kenny.

4-1, 75th minute. Jaqua comes in for Williams.
